This entire fix is taken from this particular Reddit thread. We’ve tried it for ourselves, and we can confirm that it does make a ton of difference. However, it does impact your GPU’s overall performance quite a bit. So, if you have a low-end card and cannot give away more frames, then you should probably avoid this fix. If not, here are all the steps you need to follow:

Step 1 Download Nvidia Profile Inspector from GitHub.

Step 2 – Open the Program and choose Valorant from the drop-down menu at the top. If you are unable to find the game, you can locate it here: Games\VALORANT\live\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64

Step 3 – After you have selected Valorant, change the following settings:

  • Antialiasing – Mode: Override any Application Settings.
  • Antialiasing – Setting: 8xQ [8x Multisampling]
  • Antialiasing – Transparency Supersampling: 8x Sparse Grid Supersampling

Step 4 – Click on Apply Changes at the top and exit the program after making sure you have changed all the settings.

Step 5– Go to:  C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs. Select two files called nvdrsdb0.bin and nvvdrsdb1.bin

Step 6 – Right click and open properties on both these files and set them to Read Only

Step 7 – Open Valorant and set Anti Aliasing to 4x MSAA if you have not done so already.

Congratulations! After doing all these steps, you should have much fewer jaggies and shimmering on your screen in Valorant. If you still suffer from the same issue, you might want to re-do all the tasks again as you might have missed a step.

  1. Thank you Dude. In my case it helped a lot! The problem is still existent but much more enjoyable now….

I dunno is there a way in the future to fix that problem 100% ? Is this problem game related or just a problem of modern video games. In other games like GTA i dont see this problem.

Anyway i can finally enjoy the game now.
