Gundam Evolution Bugs, Known Issues and Solutions

Here are all the Gundam Evolution known issues and bugs that players have encountered while playing. Also, the developers are maintaining an active list of the issues where they update everyone on the status and when exactly the players can expect that problem to be fixed. As per the Steam reviews and discussion boards, Gundam Evolution isn’t doing well with the players.

Gundam Evolution is sadly riddled with bugs and connection problems as per our research. We have compiled a list below that you can go through to find a workaround for your problem. The whole idea of officially known issues list is that the developers will fix them in an upcoming update or two in the near future. For any game crashes or stuttering issues, we already have some tips you can follow.

All Gundam Evolution Known Issues and Bugs

The current list we’ve compiled so far is a culmination of user reports alongside an official list as well. This list has been updated as of September 27, 2022. If you are going through an issue other than these, please let us know in the comments and we’ll surely add them.

Here’s a list of all the current bugs and issues currently present in Gundam Evolution:

If you remain idle for a certain time during the tutorial, you be automatically booted.

If you remain idle in Tutorial mode, a “Player has not returned to the battle” warning abnormally appears and you will be taken to the Home screen when the countdown timer expires.

Solution:

If you are booted from the tutorial midway, click on the Tutorial leaf mark to the upper right of Ranked Match on the Home screen to restart it.

Screen turning white and game freezing after queue

We have been made aware of an issue where the screen turns white immediately after a match is made and then the game freezes, causing players to receive a leaving penalty when they exit the game and try to rejoin the game. We are currently investigating this issue. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Match Making Issues in the “North America” Region

We have confirmed that users in the “North America” region are not able to enter matches. We have reset the match making servers and as of 0:30 we have confirmed that match making is working as intended.

The weapon skin names Flare Incite and Wave Incite for the GM Sniper II are reversed.

We have confirmed that the weapon skin names Flare Incite and Wave Incite for the GM Sniper II are reversely configured.

The grenades of Mahiroo’s G-Maneuver “REN-DO Grenade (Rush)” sometimes do not bounce.

We have confirmed that sometimes the split grenades of Mahiroo’s G-Maneuver “REN-DO Grenade (Rush)” do not bounce off certain surfaces and angles and explode on the spot.

Marasai [UC]’s G-Maneuver “Sea Snake (Shock)” sometimes doesn’t pierce enemy units.

We have confirmed that Marasai [UC]’s G-Maneuver “Sea Snake (Shock)” should pierce enemy units but does not if activated in close quarters to an enemy and will only hit that closeup enemy.

The time left display in-game is synchronized with the player’s local timezone.

The Time Left counter for challenges and ranked matches do not show the time left based on the server’s timezone but uses the PC player’s local time.

Sometimes, if I watch an MVP intro while on the Items Appearance Rate screen for Supply Pods, the sound effects become disabled.

There have been cases where the sound effects for items and matches become disabled after watching multiple MVP intros acquired on Items Appearance Rate screen of Supply Pods.

Solution:

If you run into this issue, please restart the client. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I can hear other people’s voices despite checking in “Mute Voice” from the Click Menu.

We have confirmed that you can hear a person’s voice even after clicking on their name or icon and checking in the box for the “Mute Voice” option from the menu.

Solution:

After checking in the “Mute Voice” box, open your Friends Screen or Chat Management Screen to activate the setting.

Sometimes when your microphone disconnects and you reconnect it, you cannot rejoin voice chat.

Some microphone devices cannot rejoin in-game voice chat despite reconnecting after being disconnected during gameplay.

Solution:

If you “Mute” yourself in the in-game voice channel and then rejoin the channel, you will be able to use voice chat.

If the client closes while you are in standby in a custom match room and the match starts, you will not be able to play any of the game modes.

We have confirmed that if you enter a room and are standing by, your client closes for whatever reason, and you do no reenter the room before the match starts, you will get an error message upon accessing other game modes and not be able to play until that custom match ends.

Solution:

Other game modes will become playable once the started custom match ends.

If you enter a custom match’s Room ID and the match is in progress, you will not be able to play any of the game modes.

We have confirmed that after entering a Room ID to join a custom match, an error message will appear if the match is in progress after you hit the Join button. You will then be taken to the Home screen, but all other modes such as Ranked Match will be grayed out and their buttons cannot be selected.

Solution:

If you run into this issue, please restart the client. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you are disconnected, you cannot rejoin a custom match.

Normally, you can rejoin a custom match if you are disconnected for whatever reason, but we have confirmed it is not possible at the moment.
