Capcom had pushed out this latest Monster Hunter Rise Update 126.96.36.199, and here are the complete list of patch notes for you. The developers have released a patch to address the issue preventing the game from saving upon initial bootup. There may be a bug fix or two included in this patch, but that has not been revealed in the full notes.

We do not yet have the update file size, but it shouldn’t be too big as it is just a minor fix. You should be able to download and install this patch right away from the Steam client.
Monster Hunter Rise Patch Notes: Update 184.108.40.206
Here are the official patch notes for Monster Hunter Rise Update 220.127.116.11 that is now rolling out to all the supported platforms of the game:
- When launching the full version of Monster Hunter Rise for the first time, the game fails to complete a proper save and cannot be started.
This patch will change your version of Monster Hunter Rise from Ver.18.104.22.168 to Ver.22.214.171.124.
Monster Hunter Rise does not allow for matchmaking between different versions of the game.
This means that players who applied the patch will no longer be able to matchmake with players who haven’t applied the patch, so please keep this in mind.
