Among Us has just released a completely new update, and we have the complete patch notes for your reading pleasure. The new patch includes the long-awaited Airship map alongside the formal introduction of accounts, reporting, and moderation in the game. Moreover, new skin bundles have also been released for the game.
The new update has been hyped up for quite a while. After the barrage of hackers and grievers ruining games, we’re happy to see that the developers have added a reporting and banning system to ensure that the game remains enjoyable for everyone.
Among Us March 31 Update Patch Notes
As mentioned earlier, the update’s main focal point is the new Airship map alongside the ability to create your own accounts. The developers have hinted towards more features coming out really soon as the game’s development amps up. However, for now, here’s everything you need to do about the March 31 Update for Among Us.
Airship is a completely free map released for the game. It is the 4th map made for the game and is by far the largest one yet. New tasks include jewel polishing, emptying, and more. You will also be able to pick the room you start in with increased ways to move around, like ladders and moving platforms. Once you play the map for the first time, you get a new heart pin, angry eyebrows, unicorn head, rubber glove, and more!
The Airship Skin Bundle is also available for purchase! Each new outfit in this particular bundle has its own well-crafted kill animation too.
Innersloth has finally released an Account System. Now, players will need to register with a username, password, and email before they can use the chat feature present in the game. Otherwise, you will just be stuck to Safe Chat. Moreover, you can now report players who are caught having inappropriate names or are cheating. Do note that usernames will remain modifiable. So, more than one person can have the same username at any particular point.
What’s Next For Among Us?
If there aren’t going to be any major bugs in the new update, we can expect new features to be coming out for the game real soon. Here’s a tentative future public roadmap for Among Us in 2021:
- Complete art style revamp
- Larger lobby sizes (up to 15 players)
- More frequent, transparent updates
