Multi Team Elimination
Multiple teams of four will now be fighting to survive an ever-expanding radiation zone. With a limited number of redeploys, restricted loadouts, and the requirement of scavenging for Scorestreaks, Armor, and Redeploy Tickets, only the best team may win in this Battle Royale-Esque game mode.
Scorestreak: Strafe Run
This new mid-tier scorestreak calls upon a pair of fighter jets that shower lead and rockets upon the deployment point. The scorestreak lasts longer than the Naplam Strike but requires the utmost precision for it to be effective.
The new Cargo Truck will be available in Multi-Team modes. It houses a few players in its open truck bed with the addition of a driver and copilot. It comes equipped with a mounted machine gun. It will be available in the following maps:
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War’s Zombie-themed game mode will also be getting tons of new content in Season 3.
New Field Upgrade: Toxic Growth
Summons a deadly growth of throns in front of an Operator. Enemies that move through it have their movement speed halves while also suffering toxic damage until they have. With the use of Aetherium Crystals, you can give it more charges, double its damage and even cause a ballistic reaction if someone dies in it.
New Region: Duga
Duga is now a part of the Outbreak Content. You can now uncover new secrets and find out audio transmissions, logs, and documents in the Ural Mountains that further expand the story.
New Vehicles: FAV and Cargo Truck
The aforementioned Cargo Truck, alongside a four-seated buggy, the FAV, will be making their debut in Outbreak mode. You’ll be able to fit the whole squad in the Cargo Truck or remain extremely agile by using the raw horsepower of the FAV.
New World Events
You can now earn rewards by playing on the recently released Duga map. Moreover, you can also gain access to upgrades for the D.I.E. Machine Wonder Weapon and unlock the powerful Aether Tool allowing you to reach high difficulty regions even faster!
The developers have added many new Objectives for Outbreak in Black Ops Cold War Season 3. You can now find Defend, Retrieve, and Holdout Objectives scattered throughout the map for an even greater amount of variety.
