Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.06 Patch Notes on December 23 | Minor Fixes

CD Projekt has released Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.06, a hotfix patch for the most annoying bugs that have popped up recently; and we have the complete patch notes with us. We were not expecting a new update until early next year, but we are glad the developers took some time in the holiday season to fix bugs.

The developers have promised to fix major bugs in the next two updates that will roll out early next year. The recently discovered bug for corrupting the saved game if the file size went above 8MB has been finally fixed with this patch.

Here are the complete patch notes for the Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.06 that is now rolling out today on December 23 to all supported platforms; PC and the consoles.

Quests

  • Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.

Console-specific

  • Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.

PC-specific

  • Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.
