Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.65 Patch Notes on May 11 | Hotfix

Polyphony Digital has just released Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.65, and we have the complete patch notes for your reading pleasure. The update mainly serves as a hotfix and aims to fix minor bugs and errors found in the game. Perhaps the most notable addition is the addition of Motor Sport Events in the Olympic Virtual Series. However, numerous other game-breaking crashes have been fixed.

Gran Turismo Sport is the PlayStation platform’s premier racing games. It features licensed vehicles from around the globe, with notable locations and tracks also being included. The game supports backward compatibility if you own a PS5 and runs natively on the PS4. The size of this update has not been revealed yet so far.

Main Features Implemented

1. Sport Mode
– Several changes related to the ‘Olympic Virtual Series – Motor Sport Event’ have been implemented.

Other Improvements and Adjustments

– Various other issues have been addressed.

Online Penalty Adjustments Notice (11 May)

On 11 May, adjustments have been made to the system issuing penalties in the ‘Sport’ mode and Lobbies of Gran Turismo Sport.

Sport Mode & Lobby

– The penalty judgement algorithm has been adjusted so that severe penalties are no longer issued due to differences in internet network environments.

‘Balance of Performance’ Update Notice

The Balance of Performance (BoP) for certain cars in Gran Turismo Sport has been updated.
Below is a list of affected cars and the adjustments made.

-Adjustments to the fuel consumption ratio of Gr.3 / Gr.4 cars.
