NBA 2K22 Update 1.04 Brings Stability Improvements, Bug Fixes for Current-Gen Consoles

2K Concepts has just deployed NBA 2K22 Update 1.04 and we have the complete patch notes for you to read. The update brings in much-needed stability improvements and performance upgrades under the hood for current-gen platforms.

The update comes in at a whopping 20 GB for the PS4 and a massive 22.3 GB on the Xbox. With these update file sizes for NBA 2K22 in mind, it is apparent that the developers have tried to bring in tons of improvements. You can find all the relevant information about Update 1.04 down below.

Unfortunately, no patch notes for the update are available just yet. However, since the game is riddled with bugs and the file size on each platform is massive, we can expect there to be tons of changes and performance improvements under the hood.

We’ll be updating this post as soon as we get our hands on more information.

As of yet, here’s what the developers have said about the next-gen patch for the PS5 / Xbox Series X | S scheduled for next week:

Our next PS5/XBX patch, scheduled for next week, will bring continued stability improvements, improved loading speeds when re-entering the City, removed/reduced hitching when on vehicles on Series X consoles, removing tipping from DJ Booths when propped near Quest NPCs, and more.

Note: Some features may be added to the PS4 / Xbox / PC version of the game as well!
