Osu Update 2021809.1 Patch Notes on August 8

Osu has just been updated to Stable version 2021809.1 and we have the complete patch notes for you to read. The update primarily fixes some bugs in the Editor and Gameplay of osu!mania and the base game as well.

Here are the official patch notes for the game:


Remove obsoleted “storyboard in front of fire” editor setting

Increase maximum slider velocity allowed via editor UI

Block joining multiplayer games via invites while in the editor

Fix resnap choices on timing setup dialog not matching performed operation


Fix shader flash effect occurring even when background dim is set to 100%

Move scoreboard display above flashlight layer

Also move key overlay above flashlight layer

Gameplay (osu!mania)

Fix SV changes before the first note not applying correctly

Apply difficulty calculation fixes to match osu!(lazer)

Gameplay (osu!taiko)

Fix edge case causing some taiko maps to have unexpectedly long lead-in time


Fix typo in low disk space warning

Avoid potential long-lock scenarios in background save operations
