Do I have to make a new account to play Rogue Company on Steam? How do I link my account to Steam?

You do not need a new account to play Rogue Company on Steam! To carry over your progress from another platform to Steam, please follow our Linking FAQ.

If I get the Season Two Battle Pass on Steam, can I play it on my other platforms?

Yes, as long as you link to Steam before playing on Steam and receiving the free Battle Pass. Due to this we highly recommend players link their Steam account to their existing account prior to playing on Steam for the first time.

Note: You do not need to set Steam as your “Primary” account to receive the free S2 Battle Pass on another platform. You do, however, need to link your Steam account before playing and receiving the free Battle Pass, as noted above.

My Rogue Company account is in Epic/PS4/PS5/Xbox/Switch. Can I keep making progress on my Season Two Battle Pass on Steam if I link my account?

Yes, as long as you have linked all of your accounts and set your Primary account as the account where all of your existing purchases and progress are. As long as you have linked your Steam account and your Primary account, any purchases or progress made on Steam will carry over.

Will my purchases on Epic/PS4/PS5/Xbox/Switch transfer over to Steam? Will my purchases on Steam transfer over to Epic/PS4/PS5/Xbox/Switch?

Yes, as long as you have linked all of your accounts and set your Primary account as the account where all of your existing purchases and progress are. As long as you have linked your Steam account and your Primary account, the majority of purchases or progress made on Steam will carry over. Please see below for the DLCs that will not carry over.

Will my Rogue Bucks carry over to Steam?

  • Rogue Bucks Purchased on the Nintendo Switch or Epic Games: Will transfer.
  • Rogue Bucks purchased on the PlayStation Store: Will not transfer, nor can any other platform’s Rogue Bucks purchases be used on the PlayStation version of Rogue Company.
  • Rogue Bucks purchased on Xbox: Will transfer, but Rogue Bucks purchased on any other platform cannot be used on the Xbox version of Rogue Company.

I’m an Epic Games player and want to permanently move to Steam. What happens if I purchase things in the Rogue Company in-game store on Steam?

If you’d like to make Steam your new home, we highly recommend that you link your Steam account prior to playing Rogue Company on Steam. This way, all of your Epic Games progress and purchases will be available when you play Rogue Company on Steam. To do so, follow our Linking FAQ to link your Steam and Epic accounts, then set your Epic Games account as your “Primary” account. This will ensure that your progress and purchases from Epic are available on your Steam account.

I forgot to link my Steam account before downloading Rogue Company and playing. Can I now link my Steam account and carry over my progression from Epic?

If you have played on Epic Games or another platform prior to Steam, but play Rogue Company on Steam prior to linking, all your Steam progress will be lost when you link your Steam account. For example, if you download and play Rogue Company and achieve Rogue Mastery 2 on Dahlia, then link your Steam account via our Account Linking, and set your Epic Games account as the Primary account, all of your Epic Games progress, purchases, and Rogue Bucks will replace any progress or purchases you’ve made on Steam, such as your Rogue Mastery 2 on Dahlia.

Alternatively, if you set Steam as your Primary account after linking, and then log into your Rogue Company Epic Games account, your progress and purchases from Steam will appear and replace your previous Epic Games purchases and progress. Due to this, we highly recommend that players link their Steam account and set their existing account (on Epic/PS4/PS5/Xbox/Switch) as the “Primary” account before playing on Steam. They will not retroactively merge. Any progress or purchases made after linking your accounts will be shared.
