The Weather Monitor System is one of the most efficient seasonal projects in ARC Raiders if your stash is already healthy. Done correctly, it converts routine loot into a fixed payout of 250 Raider Tokens and the Anemometer backpack charm.
This guide rewrites the full project path into a practical stage-by-stage checklist, including every required hand-in and where to find each material quickly.

Weather Monitor System Quick Facts
- Total stages: 5
- Items per stage: 4 hand-ins
- Total project reward: 250 Raider Tokens + Anemometer backpack charm
- Reported community stats: 1,605 unique visitors and 15 favorites
How the Project Progression Works

The Weather Monitor System was introduced with the Shrouded Sky update (Patch 1.17.0). Progress is linear: complete Stage 1 to unlock Stage 2, then continue through Stage 5.
- Submitted items are consumed permanently. Do not turn in critical supplies needed for your next deployment.
- Later-stage previews are limited. In most cases, you cannot fully inspect future requirements until current stage completion, so pre-stocking is the safe approach.

All Stage Materials at a Glance
| Stage | Required Materials |
|---|---|
| Stage 1: Atmospheric Pressure | Plastic Parts, Metal Parts, ARC Alloy, Oil |
| Stage 2: Sunlight | Snitch Scanner, Wires, Sensors, Comet Igniter |
| Stage 3: Precipitation | ARC Powercell, Canister, Steel Spring, Fine Wristwatch |
| Stage 4: Humidity | Duct Tape, Rusted Bolts, Water Pump, Wasp Driver |
| Stage 5: Temperature | Camera Lens, Damaged Heat Sink, Firefly Burner, Voltage Converter |
Stage 1: Atmospheric Pressure (1/5)

- Plastic Parts: Look in commercial, residential, and technological zones such as shops, apartments, offices, and server rooms.
- Metal Parts: Most reliable in mechanical, industrial, electrical, and technological loot pools, including maintenance cages and tool-heavy spaces.
- ARC Alloy: Farm ARC activity and salvage ARC remains; recycling ARC junk also helps if stock is low.
- Oil: Common in mechanical areas and occasionally purchasable from Celeste depending on her daily inventory.
Stage 2: Sunlight (2/5)

- Snitch Scanner: Guaranteed drop from Snitch ARCs with no alternate source, so route directly for Snitch encounters.
- Wires: Found in electrical and technological areas; Celeste can also stock these.
- Sensors: Best found in security and technological loot routes; check Celeste for shortcut buys.
- Comet Igniter: Drops from Comet ARCs in open map spaces. Two reliable spots are Plaza Rosa (Buried City) and the dam near the Control Tower (Dam Battlegrounds).
Important: Comets must be eliminated before self-destruction, or igniter drops are lost.
Stage 3: Precipitation (3/5)

- ARC Powercell: Broad ARC-related drop; farming smaller patrol groups is typically more efficient than chasing one high-commitment target.
- Canister: Common in commercial loot zones and sometimes purchasable from Celeste.
- Steel Spring: Prioritize industrial interiors, workshops, and storage-style buildings.
- Fine Wristwatch: Spawns in residential and commercial containers; treat this as a valuables-route item rather than an industrial grind.
Stage 4: Humidity (4/5)

- Duct Tape: Residential and commercial loot pools; Celeste may stock it.
- Rusted Bolts: Industrial and mechanical routes; relatively heavy for inventory value, so most players collect these later in a run.
- Water Pump: Mechanical and industrial areas are primary sources; Buried City rooftops and nearby structures are proven spots from the Unexpected Initiative routing.
- Wasp Driver: Drop from Wasp ARCs. Rotor-focused tracking and cover discipline are the safest way to secure this consistently.
Stage 5: Temperature (5/5)

- Camera Lens: Security-zone loot. Spaceport security offices and checkpoint-style rooms are particularly strong routes.
- Damaged Heat Sink: Found in technological areas, especially machine-heavy interiors and server-adjacent rooms.
- Firefly Burner: Exclusive drop from Firefly ARCs. Fireflies can appear across all maps, but extraction survival is still required.
- Voltage Converter: Electrical-area loot and occasional Celeste stock; generator rooms, electrical cabinets, and server racks are efficient POIs.

Final Optimization Notes
The fastest completion pattern is to pre-collect across stages, then submit in sequence once your stash is stable. This reduces unnecessary re-queues, prevents accidental over-donation of critical supplies, and keeps your extraction loadouts viable while finishing the project.
