Battlefield 2042 has just been announced and the game comes in three distinct editions: Standard, Gold, and Ultimate! We’ve compiled a list of all the differences between them alongside a quick overview of all the perks you’ll be getting if you were to pre-order.
EA has definitely stepped up their game when it comes to pre-ordering. This time, players who purchase the higher tier editions (Gold & Ultimate) gain access to the game 10 days earlier than the release date. Moreover, there are tons of other perks that sure make pre ordering worth it.
All Battlefield 2042 Editions Compared
All editions provide you with some set cosmetic rewards which we’ve mentioned down below. Moreover, the Gold and Ultimate Editions provide you with an earlier Release Date scheduled for October 15.

When Does Battlefield 2042 Open Beta Start
There’s been a lot of rumors flying around lately about the Open Beta coming out as soon as the first few weeks of September!
While we still aren’t sure yet, players who have pre-ordered the game will be able to play the game 3-4 days before the Open Beta opens for everyone else.
What Is The Release Date For Battlefield 2042
If you have the Gold or Ultimate Edition of the game, you’ll be able to enjoy the title on October 15, 2021.
However, those who have the Standard Version of the game will be able to play the game on October 22, 2021.
