As the age-old Halo Fan continues to enjoy the newest expansion in the franchise, Halo Infinite, fans have finally gotten their hands on fresh Halo content including new guns, collectibles, and the Co-operative Campaign Mode. However, from the release of Halo Infinite till now, the content has slowly been made accessible to players to let them enjoy every bit of it to the highest degree and the recently unlocked feature that has made its way to the game is the most highly anticipated one.
Although the Co-operative Campaign Mode was not to be released to the game for quite a while, some fans have managed to “break the system” and have been able to unlock the mode months prior to its release. If you want to get your hands on the mode by proper means, you would have to wait for an official update, however, if you just want to test it out, here’s how you can do that.
How To Enable Co-Op Mode In Halo Infinite (Glitch)
As soon as the news came out that a way to enable Co-operative Campaign Mode has been found, players have been looking all around to find a way to unlock it. One player has claimed to have found the way out on Reddit, and according to him, if you want to unlock the mode in your game, you would have to:
- To make this work, your Halo Infinite game must be in the disconnection period that happens right after quick resuming.
- Once there, sign into another Xbox Live account with the second controller.
- Load up the Halo Infinite Campaign.
- Press the Start button on the main controller, and then hit back.
- Once you go back, press Start or Back on the secondary controller to join the Fireteam.
- That should enable the Co-operative Campaign mode.
However, we suggest that you do not opt for using this method as of now, especially if you have been trying to make a lot of progress in the game. This is because people who have tried the method have completely busted up their save-files.
Additionally, the Co-operative Campaign Mode isn’t implemented properly right now, hence, there are a lot of bugs that you will be faced with if you do opt for using this method. Some of these bugs are:
- The 2nd player will have no HUD.
- The FOB’s won’t work, because according to the game, the 2nd player hasn’t taken control of them.
- Player 2 will have their own tacmap and upgrade tree.
- If any of the players die, the game will softlock itself.
- Player 2 will be forced to fast travel whenever player 1 does.
Although playing with your friends can sound like an extremely fun idea, there are times where you have to be patient to enjoy something to the absolute fullest. However, if you are ok with losing everything you have worked for, give it a shot, and find out what the official co-op mode might look like.
