Shortly before the game’s release, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford announced on Twitter that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will indeed launch with cross-platform support between all platforms for the game including last gen systems like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and Xbox One X. His statement said that:
“Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will ship on March 25 with full cross play for all platforms at launch, including PlayStation. Incredible work from the engineers at Gearbox Software with thanks to our partners at 2k Games and 1st parties, including Sony, for working together on this.”
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands does indeed feature both cross-platform and cross-gen support. So players who are looking to play with their friends can play on any console of their choosing. Unlike Gearbox’s last title, Borderlands 3 which had cross-play added late after release with an update, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be launching on release day with full Cross-play support for all platforms.

Enabling Cross-play in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a very simple process, just follow the steps below and you will be able to play with whoever you want as long as they have a SHiFT account.
- Open the in-game menu
- Select “Social”
- Under the “Roster” tab, select Find SHiFT friends.
- Enter your friend’s SHiFT name in the following tab.
- Find their account under the Roster tab.
