There are tons of collectibles in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands for the player to search for and collect. Fans of the Borderlands series will be happy to know that this spinoff offers a similar experience to Borderlands but with a few new things. That is why this guide will look at all Obelisk locations in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Excluding the Overworld, there is an Obelisk on every map of the game. That means that there are a total of 11 Obelisks that you can activate and complete. Keep in mind that activating these structures will cause enemies to spawn and you’ll have to defeat them. With that said, let’s find out about all Obelisk locations in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: All Obelisk Locations
Whether you are a completionist or are doing a side quest, you will have to activate some of the Obelisks sooner or later. So, it’s better if you know the location of these structures beforehand. Before we start, let’s talk a bit about what rewards you can expect and what happens if you activate the Obelisk.
Firstly, when you start the challenge, various enemies will spawn and the player will have to defeat them in order to progress. In the end, a boss will also spawn. Be careful because some of these enemies and bosses can be quite tough if you do not have good gear. Defeating these enemies will grant you either rare loot, weapons, or experience.
The reason why I suggest completing these Obelisks as you progress is important because the loot they offer is quite useful. If you return to them later, the loot they offer won’t be of use to you since you’ll have a much better one. However, activating them as you go on will allow you to get good gear and make the game a bit easier.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s dive right in and take a look at the locations.
Located at the eastern corner of the map, this is the first Obelisk that you have to activate. However, before you can get to this area, you will have to finish the Goblins Tired of Oppression side quest. After activating the Obelisk, defeat the enemies and face off with the Pigwart boss. Keep in mind that this Obelisk is also required if you want to get The Barrelmaker spell card.
Head over to the southeast part of the map to come across the Weepwild Dankness Obelisk. After defeating all the enemies, you will have to take on the Monstrous Shroom as the final boss.
Moving over to the northern part of the map, this Obelisk can be found on the extreme north side. Activating it will trigger a boss fight with the Doll the Troll. You also have to defeat the Goblins and Trolls before getting to the boss fight.
To get to the Tangledrift Obelisk, players must head over to the western part of the map. You’ll have to defeat the Obsidian Wyvern after taking on the Wyverns beforehand. These enemies can be a bit tough so make sure that you have strong weapons.
Making your way to the southern tip of the map, you’ll come across the Wargtooth Shallows Obelisk. Players will be ambushed by the Dogfish and Hammerheads before they can take on The Great Wight boss fight.
While this Obelisk can be found on the northwest part of the map, you’ll have to complete A Mortal Coil quest to unlock this area. Once you have successfully done the fish sacrifice in the quest, you’ll be able to access this area.
After the quest, the door in this area will unlock; allowing you to enter inside. The final boss of this Obelisk is King Q’urub Hullsunder.
This Obelisk is found at the spawn point. Once you enter Crackmast Cove, continue heading forward until the waterfall is at your left. Now, you’ll want to go through the waterfall and find the Ancient Obelisk. Activating it will result in the Lissia Iron–Wrought boss fight.
Moving to the western part of the map, this Obelisk can only be unlocked after completing The Son of a Witch story quest. During this quest, you will cross a cavern. Instead of taking the usual route, head left from here and you’ll come across the Karnock’s Wall Obelisk. Players will have to defeat Shara, Dust–Begotten as the final boss of this challenge.
Make your way to the north-eastern part of the map to find the Sunfang Obelisk. Once you reach the general area, you’ll want to go through the large archway and continue following the path. The path is quite linear so you won’t miss this Obelisk. The final boss of this area is the Oculus but you’ll have to take on the Coiled Spitters, Impalers, and Headhunters before that.
This Obelisk can be found by going to the northern-most part of the map. This structure is clearly visible once you get to the area so don’t worry because you won’t miss it. The final boss of this challenge is Mandiblon, Chomper of Skulls.
This Obelisk is situated on the southern part of the map and can be accessed by going through the large doorway and making your way down to the Obelisk. After activating it, you will have to defeat all the enemies and face off with the Death Rattler boss.
Those are all the Obelisk locations in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. We would love to know if you managed to activate them all or are you still doing it. Let us know in the comments below about your thoughts regarding the game.
