How to Fix Super People Launch Fail and Crash Issues

Amongst the games, people have been most excited about, Super People has been a top pick for a lot of people. This is also why people get a little frustrated when the game continues to fail to launch and goes through crashing in the closed beta test. However, due to the introduction of new mechanisms that haven’t been seen before it might be a little difficult to fix.

However, before we wait for an official patch or fix addressing these issues, the community has come up with a few solutions of their own to fix the crashing and failing to launch issue on Steam. Although these fixes aren’t guaranteed to work, it’s better to give them a shot, rather than waiting passively for something to happen.

How to Fix Crash Issues, Launch Fail Problems

As we mentioned earlier, these fixes are proposed by the members of the community and hence cannot come with any sort of guarantee that your game is going to be fixed. If you have still decided to go along with these fixes, here they are:

Solution 1: Steam Local Verification

Whenever trouble with a Steam game comes up, you should drop everything else, and try verifying the integrity of the local game files. Although this sounds very sarcastic or vague, trust us, more often than naught, this will work. To do this, simply:

  • Launch Steam.
  • Navigate to your library.
  • Right-click on the name of the game you are having troubles with.
  • Click on properties.
  • Navigate to local files.
  • And from there, click on the Verify Integrity Of Game Files.

  • Enter the start menu and search for ‘remove program’.
  • One the window opens up, look for GeeGee Launcher in the list of programs.
  • Select the Launcher client and a button to uninstall will become visible.
  • Once you press the button, the launcher will be uninstalled.
  • After doing that, relaunch Super People from steam to reinstall the launcher.

Solution 3: Windows Management Instrumentation

If nothing else works, it might be time to get a little technical and check your Windows Management Instrumentation. To do this, all you have to do is:

  • Press the Windows Key and the R key together.
  • Enter ‘services.msc’ into the dialog that pops up and press enter.
  • Scroll down till you find ‘Windows Management Instrumentation’ and ensure that it’s running.
  • If its not running, click the tab on the row of Status and press on ‘Start’.
  • Try running the game again.

If none of these fixes work for you, we suggest that you wait for an official fix to be released. However, fret not as you have tried everything in your power and it is time to let the pros take care of it.
