Escape From Tarkov: How to Get Twitch Drops
This event started on December 28 but players weren’t aware of it. However, recently it gained steam and almost every Escape From Tatkov player wants to get in on the action. If you want to get these drops, you will first have to link your Escape From Tarkov account to Twitch. To link your account, you must:
- Log into the official Escape from Tarkov website.
- Sign into your Twitch account.
- Select link Twitch account from the right-hand menu.
- Voila! Your accounts are now linked.
- Watch participating streams to earn your drops!
Many big streamers like xQc and summit1g are also participating in this event so don’t miss out.
How To Earn Twitch Drops
Once you have your account linked to Twitch, you must watch the stream for at least two hours. If you do not have that much time, you can always play the stream and mute it in the background. After you meet the criteria, you will be automatically given a random drop that contains a prize. After you’ve received the first one, you will get a drop after every four hours.
Make sure that you check in every four hours because your progress for the next one will not begin until you’ve claimed the current drop. In total, you will need to watch a stream or various streams for at least 22 hours minimum to get all 6 drops.
What Rewards Can You Get?
Battlestate hasn’t openly revealed what rewards players will be able to get just yet but we know for a fact that there will be weapons, gear, and various rare items. Keep in mind that the drops are new every day and they reset after a fixed time period. If you miss a day, you will not be able to claim those rewards again.
