Winter Theme
To celebrate the arrival of Christmas, PUBG Mobile Lite is introducing a new winter theme for the main menu. This theme will be the default for everyone opening the game and is quite festive in nature.
Universal Pinging
PUBG Mobile Lite has finally added global pings in their 0.20.0 update. Now, players can easily mark their surroundings to inform team-mates of valuable information. this includes marking supplies, locations and an enemy’s position.
Winter Map
The default Erangel map has been changed to the Snow version. This map is ported over from the Mobile version of PUBG and features snowboards and new spawn-island structures. Moreover, mountains around Pilot Plaza and Church are now completely covered with snow.
Smoke Trails and Graffitis
Smoke Trails and Graffitis are being ported over from the game. The game currently has a minimal collection of them. But, expect new items to be added to every new update. You can purchase these items right now from the store.
Winter Castle in Varenga
The Varenga map in PUBG Mobile Lite now has a huge castle in update 0.20.0. Players can expect to find a large number of enemies landing there as the area is expected to have high loop drop rates.
New Throwables
The Frozen Egg is a new throwable being added into the game. When players throw it, a snowman with a chicken on top that can be used to take cover in the midst of a fire-fight.
Bug Fixes and Winter Pass Changes
The developers have mentioned that several bugs have also been fixed but no clear information was given regarding them.
The Winter Pass’s max cap has been changed from Level 30 to Level 40 and players can now complete up to three daily missions.
