Call of Duty: Vanguard has just been released across all supported platforms and we have the list of the best weapons in the game right here for you. With ARs, LMGs, SMGs and Snipers in the mix, there’s definitely a few archaic weapons here that have made the cut. They’ve also been exemplary during the open beta as well.
Set during the World War 2 era, the Call Of Duty: Vanguard features a large number of weapons exclusive to that era. However, before we get on with the list, these are our initial impressions of every weapon in the game, there’s a high chance that a patch coming out in a day or two might alter these weapons significantly!

After careful trial and testing, we have designed the following list and came up with the best weapons you can find in Call of Duty: Vanguard right now.
Volk Assault Rifle
- An amazing early game weapon for newer players.
- Comes with a lot of pre-added attachments.
- Set up as a close ranged rifle made for fast pushes and an aggressive playstyle.
- The range on the weapon is very substantial however, the recoil falls off with the increase in range.
MP40
- A very low recoil weapon, perfect for the early game.
- Highest damage output in the SMG class.
- Exceptional mobility.
- A fantastic default iron-sight.
STG44
- Default assault rifle with an extremely consistent gameplay.
- The weapon comes with an exceptional range.
- It holds a lot of combat power.
- The weapon brings out its complete potential with a few attachments.
- Best for holding down a site.

The Bar
- A slow firing heavy hitting rifle.
- Stupidly high damage.
- High recoil but all you need is a few bullets to hit.
- Requires a certain level of skills to operate.
- High risks high reward. Just the way we like it.
