The build potential of Elden Ring has consumed the fans of the game to go to the edges of the Lands Between to get items that best serve their purpose. The sheer items of all kinds in this game give insane freedom to play as you wish and come up with creative builds to take out the mightiest of foes with ease.
It is the complementary nature of each item on the person that delivers the best result and the most crucial of all are the Talismans. These items are the hidden gems of each build as they are not visually seen but they have the most supportive role to play in the synergy of the build. We will be discussing the best talismans you could find in Elden Ring down below.
Best Elden Ring Talismans
There are many Talismans that are considered the best in the game but most are very specific to a niche. Here we will be listing down some that have a broader appeal to them and still considered the best amongst the bunch.
Primal Glinstone blade
Description: Spells consume less FP, but maximum HP is reduced.
This Talisman is very powerful for spellcaster builds but it is a double-edged sword or blade in this case as it takes away health from the user. The exact HP reduction is 15% and the FP consumption is lowered by 25%. A trade-off only the astute of incantations and sorcery inclined players will be willing to go for. You can use this Talisman as an excuse to allocate more flasks to HP than FP.

Primal Glinstone Blade Location
For this Talisman you need to make your way to the Mountaintops of the Giants and specifically the location marked in the picture above the Stargazers’ Ruins. While exploring these ruins you will come across a ruined building with a Jellyfish inside, don’t worry she is not hostile and is looking for her sister, along with underground leading stairs that are blocked by some fog. Her sister is the Jellyfish spirit you received from Roderika near Stormveil Castle. Using this particular spirit, summon her to this location, and these fishes will interact with each other and disappear. Once gone the fog will be lifted from the basement and there will be a chest inside with Primal Glintstone Blade.
Godskin Swaddling Cloth
Description: Successive attacks restore HP
This talisman heals you for keeping the flurry of attacks on your enemies. If you don’t take a break for 10 seconds between landing hits this effect will stay active and you will get back around 5% of your health after every handful of hits you deliver. Perfect for builds that have fast weapons and stay up close and personal with the opponents to gain back health and increase their survivability.
Godskin Swaddling Cloth Location
Head to the Spiritcaller Cave near the Frozen lake in Mountaintops of the Giants, the location is marked in the picture above. Open the entrance with the Stonesword Keys to gain access. Make your way through the cave and defeat the boss to get rewarded with Godskin Swaddling Cloth.
Old Lord’s Talisman
Description: Extends spell effect duration
This Talisman just further boosts the duration of spells and incantations by 30%. The specific use case for this is the buffs and enchantment you put on yourself from either of the two. This is the go-to talisman for builds that rely heavily on buffs, freeing their mind from the invisible timer of losing the buff.
Old Lord’s Talisman location
Start with the Grace site Beside the Great Bridge in Crumbling Farum Azula. From this Grace site make your way towards the location marked on the map above, by dropping from a balcony to a lower section, to come across a tower room with multiple Beastman, deal with them and proceed to open the chest with Old Lord’s Talisman inside.

Erdtree’s Favor +2
Description: Raises maximum HP, stamina and equip load.
This is the third and most powerful version of this talisman that most players will surely be familiar with. This increases the stated capabilities without having any drawbacks, an all-rounder kind of talisman that any type of player can use. The exact number of increases for each are +4% for HP, +9.6% for stamina, and +8% for equip load.
Erdtree’s Favor +2 Location
This talisman is accessible only after you have completed the Crumbling Farum Azula and defeated the main boss there. After which there will be a noticeable difference in the Capital Leyndell region. Using the Forbidden Lands grace site make your way back to the Capital, to the location marked on the map. Look out for the enemies here and locate a small broken tree branch that houses the Erdtree’s Favor +2 on top.
Radagon’s Soreseal
Description: Greatly raises attributes, but also increases damage taken.
Not to be confused by the Radagon’s Scarseal. The Radagon’s Soreseal is the upgraded version of the Scarseal. This talisman raises Vigor, Endurance, Strength, and Dexterity by 5 levels each, on the downside the damage received is bumped up by 15%. The stat increase will even out the downside of the damage taken and on top of that will give better attack power with more STR and DEX. Good for builds focused on these particular stats.
Radagon’s Soreseal Location
To get this talisman head to Fort Faroth in the Caelid Region. Fight your way through some annoying bats and spirit soldiers to the roof of the fort and drop down to a wooden scaffolding from the back hole with a ladder. Keep moving forward and at the edge of the scaffolding turn around and jump to the other side of the wall where there are rats. At the back of this area, there will be a way to drop down to the ground and the Radagon’s Soreseal will be on a corpse.
Great-Jar’s Arsenal
Description: Vastly raises maximum equip load.
This talisman will increase the equipment load threshold by 19%. Builds that require weighty armors and great weapons will benefit greatly from this. Players who want to quick roll/dodge while carrying heavy equipment can make it work with this talisman.
Great-Jar’s Arsenal Location
Make your way to this arena at the edge of the Caelid Region. Here you will spot a huge Jar NPC. Talk to him and he will spawn three duel summoning signs on the ground in front of him. Kill all three in a go without dying and you will be awarded Great-Jar’s Arsenal talisman.
