The Third Person Perspective Mod has just been released for Cyberpunk 2077 and you can download this TPP Mod right here with instructions on how to install. The work-in-progress modification lets you play the entire in a Third Person perspective. The mod is available as a free download for everyone to enjoy. Do note that the current release is fairly buggy, but fans have completed the game entirely using the Third Person Mode Mod. However, your experience may vary.
CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 is locked in First Person Perspective. While the game is still enjoyable, most RPGs are best played in TPP Mode. Therefore, it only makes sense for avid fans and modders to eventually come out with a mod that lets you play in that camera angle.
Third Person Mode in Cyberpunk 2077
Critics had a lot to say about Cyberpunk’s janky First-Person Perspective. Before the game was released, most fans were quite upset over the lack of Third Person Perspective options in the game settings. This particularly infuriated fans who knew that such an option was implementable as Rockstar has done it a few years back with their open-world title, GTA V.
The game developers failed to comment or elaborate about their intentions to bring a Third Person Mode to the game. Therefore, developer Jelle Baker set to work and has successfully created a working but somewhat buggy mod that lets you switch between the two perspectives with ease.
How to Download and Install TPP Mod
Currently, the mod is a work-in-progress, and just like the game at its current stage, it is somewhat of a buggy mess. So, do not expect everything to work out smoothly. You might experience weird stutter, weird animation glitches (since they had to be coded by the Developer,) and your model T-Posing, which seems to be a common occurrence for all player models in the game.

The modification works in conjunction with the CyberEngine Tweaks mod, which lets you access the console and debug menu. Here are all the steps you need to do to install the Third Person Mod for Cyberpunk 2077:
Step 1 – Download the CyberEngine Tweaks Mod.
Step 2 – Download the TPP Mod.
Step 3 – Download the version for your particular character ( Male / Female )
Step 4 – Extract it to your \Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 directory
Step 5 – After launching Cyberpunk 2077 pressing B will let you switch to the Third Person Mode
If your game crashes before the mod loads or if pressing B completely shuts down your game, then you might have to wait till the mod is updated. Alternatively, you can submit a bug-report to speed up the process.
