You won’t know what the electrical stations are if you are starting out. However, as you progress through the game and make your to the Central Loop, the city will light up for a moment. After that, you will get a task from Lawan to try and power up the city again. That is why this guide will show you how to activate electrical stations in Dying Light 2.
Activating the electrical stations is like turning on the radio towers in Far Cry games. When you reach the first station, you will need to find a way to get inside. This might sound overwhelming at first but worry not. With that said, let’s get started and look at how to activate electrical stations in Dying Light 2.
Dying Light 2: How To Activate Electrical Stations
Once you get inside the station, you will want to look for an electrical box with a number and a green light. When you find the box, press the interact button. Aiden – the protagonist – will pull out a cable and connect an extension cord to the box.
You will have to reach the next box without running out of the cable. Keep in mind that the cable can get stuck in corners, so be careful of the path that you take. You can see the amount of cable remaining in the corner of the screen.
After connecting all the boxes, make your way to the central console and interact to activate the power. Much like the water towers, you will be given a choice to direct power towards either the Peacekeepers or the Survivors. Now, choose your upgrade, and the faction you picked will surround the area.
Activating the electrical station is straightforward. Some stations will be more puzzling than others but keep at it, and you will activate them all. Before you turn on the main terminal, we suggest that you loot the place clean. Otherwise, like the metro stations, all the loot will disappear. If you cannot find the main terminal, worry not because you can use the elevator to get to it.
