Players that have took part in Guardian Raids previously will know that you will have to reach level 50 to challenge the mighty Tytalos. However, keep in mind that the Guardian Raid activity is not unlocked until you reach the continent of Vern. It can take you a long time to get here but it is worth the wait because these raids are extremely difficult and fun to take part in.
Plus, getting to level 50 means that you can fully unlock all the skills and your character is at maximum potential. Taking on the Guardian Raids is an extremely challenging task but this is a step above that. Since you have faced tier 1 Guardians till now, Tytalos is stronger than ll of them. To be eligible to fight the mighty lion, players must bring 580 total levels worth of gears and items.
Fighting the Lion in the Sand
He is a mobile foe that will continuously move around the arena and attack your party. Using skill shots while he is dashing can be quite difficult since there is a higher chance to miss them. His usual attack patterns consist of two or three swift light attacks before winding up for an AOE attack.
This attack can one-shot almost your entire party if you are not careful. Plus, you can only use three Feathers of Resurrection per Guardian Raid so it’s not like you can keep on reviving your party. The size of the arena is decent but this attack makes it looks small. Players have to carefully find a way to avoid this attack or risk dying.
However, that’s not the worst part of the fight. Tytalos can call in a dangerous sandstorm which can cause your characters to be slowed down. This effect can stack up to three times before your character gets petrified. The good thing is that while you are in that state, his AOE attack won’t damage you. So, if you time it right, this is a good way of avoiding his attack.
The main threat of this fight is the AOE attack so if you have an agile class like Deathblade, you can continue moving to avoid it. Also, make sure that you have a good Bard in your team to have good sustain and healing. With enough determination and dodging, you’ll defeat Tytalos and claim his rewards.
