Destiny 2 has a plethora of exotic weapons with a new one makings its way to the game, The Gjallarhorn and we have decided to design a complete guide for you to follow and get your hands on this exotic rocket launcher. But, before you begin, the process of getting The Gjallarhorn isn’t an easy one and would require you some time and effort to be placed. Therefore, we suggest that you do it over the weekends, with a couple of friends as doing it alone might be extremely difficult.
The Gjallarhorn has been an iconic weapon in the franchise and it has finally made its way to Destiny 2 as additional content for the 30th Anniversary Update. However, to ensure the players understood the prestige and fame behind the Gjallarhorn, it has been placed behind a rather painstaking chain quest that would require you some external help to get through, and this guide does just that!
Destiny 2: How to Find The Gjallarhorn
To find the Gjallarhorn you would need to complete the new dungeon that has been added to the game, this dungeon is amongst the longest and most technical ones we have encountered in the game and make up for most of the time that your quest for the Gjallarhorn will take. However, you can find the complete guide on how to clear out the Grasp of Avarice here. Once you have completed the Grasp of Avarice, your quest step will update and you will be asked to visit Shaw Han. After that just, follow this simple guide:
- After talking to Shaw Han, your quest step will update once more, and you will be asked to collect Wolfpack Rounds.
- The quest will need you to find powerful fallen in the Cosmodrome to get a chance at finding the Wolfpack Round. Be careful with this step, as the person dealing the killing blow will be awarded a Wolfpack round only.
- Once you’re done with that, go back to Shaw Han and he will provide you with the Gjallarhorn component, the Rocket Housing.
- Once you’ve done that, make your way to the Tower and look for Banshee-44, the gunsmith, who then hands you the Gjallarhorn Component, the Trigger Mechanism for completing a quick Quest Step.
- After talking to Banshee-44, you would be asked to clear out the Exodus Garden 2A Law Sector which is located in the Cosmodrome so make your way there.
- After entering the sector, head to the divide and clear out the enemies there. Once you have completed the sector, you will find a chest with the third Gjallarhorn Component, the Targeting System.
- After getting the Targeting System, your quest step will be updated and now it is time to assemble the Gjallarhorn.
- This requires you to go back to Shaw Han but not talk to him. Instead, turn around to your left and you will see a shed.
- Head inside and you will be able to assemble the Gjallarhorn here.
- After reassembling it, you will have an “Nearly Complete Gjallarhorn”. Now go back to Shaw Han and talk to him. He will just hand you the completed Gjallarhorn.
Now all that is left for you is to equip the Gjallarhorn and test out its tremendous powers in PVE or raid situations.
