Not only can you get rewards, but you can also participate in various events and activities as well. If you haven’t earned these rewards yet, we suggest that you quickly do so because this is the final week in which you can get them. While you can get the rest of the gifts in this week, there is a rifle that you can only get today. With that said, here is how to get free holiday rewards in Red Dead Online.
Free Holiday Rewards in Red Dead Online
Before we start, make sure that you claim the Evans bolt-action rifle because today is the last day to do so. To get this gift, log into the game and you will receive it. With that said, let’s take a look at the rest of the rewards that you can get in this event.
2X Bounty and RDO$ Bonus
During this event, you get 2 times the normal rewards when completing bounties. Until January 5, you can get 2X RDO$ as well. Take as much advantage of this as you can since normally it can be difficult to get money and XP. Gather as many resources as you can during this event by completing missions and doing bounties.
New Seasonal Call To Arms Maps
Go to any Post Office between December 21 and January 5 to get information regarding invading bandits. They are invading various places such as Colter, Rhodes, Hanging Dog Ranch, and Emerald Ranch. On top of that, cougars, wolves, and bears are also roaming around the map and attacking people on sight.
Finally, a Christmas-themed locomotive is going between the stations at Rhodes and Emerald Ranch. You have to take out the bandits on the train to free it. If you successfully reach the last wave in any of the Call to Arms maps, you will get 50% off any weapon.
2X RDO$ on Trader and Moonshine Sales
Just like the bounties, you will get twice the rewards on every Moonshine and trader sales. Successfully completing any one of the Traders or Moonshine Sales will grant you 2X RDO$. This is a good time to collect as much money as you can.
Extra Rewards For Showdowns
Getting involved in one-on-one gunfights – friendly or otherwise – will result in you gaining extra bonuses. If you partake in Make It Count and Last Stand, you will get 3X RDO$, XP, and 2X Gold. This is the best time to get into gunfights with other players to earn a lot of money, XP, and gold. Since gold is a relatively rare resource, you should try to gather as much as you can.
