I like this feature, more dev’s need to learn from this. Not being able to just jump online without getting to a certain point in the campaign. Unfortunately “some” Never experience the single player portion and then get all huffy because they lost vs an online opponent in Pvp.
More games need this feature, not just jumping online without even completing the tutorial and have no idea how you play or no clue what their doing.
Dying Light seems to be the only franchise that implements this feature. However, you’ll always find nay-sayers who want to have Co-Op from the get go. Can’t make everyone happy!
The only other game i know for certain that has this feature is “Sword Art Lycoris” After roughly 15 hours of gameplay at the end of chapter 1 you unlock co-op.
That’s definitely enough time to learn the basics.
