How to Find Jagged Peaks in Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Update
The Jagged Peaks are formed around cold or snowy biomes and are formed on top of the highest mountains around. Although there isn’t a lower limit to the height requirement of the mountains, we suggest saving yourselves the time by only looking at the towering ones as it increases the chances of you finding a Jagged Peaks Biome.
How to Spot a Cave Jagged Peaks Biome
Luckily, spotting a Jagged Peaks biome is a rather simple process. All you need to do is:
- Head over to the coldest biome you have around your vicinity.
- Look for tall mountains.
- Climb on top of the highest mountain you can find.
- Look for the Jagged Peak formation on top of the mountain or surrounding ones.
- Jagged Peaks are easy to identify as they are always covered in snow.
What is in a Jagged Peaks Biome?
Although there isn’t much loot at these biomes, you might be able to find some ores along with snow layers, snow blocks, and stone. The ores that you can find in a Jagged Peaks biome are Coal, Iron, and Emerald.
How to Find Lush Caves Faster?
To find any biome quicker once a new update has dropped, here’s what you should be doing:
- Make a new world on the latest version of Minecraft
- Choose a random seed (Leave the seed slot empty)
- Switch to creative and fly around the first 500 or so blocks
- If you are not able to find the biome, delete the world and make a new one!
