Season 2 is set to go live on February 2 at 8 a.m. PST. The casual mode has already been added to the game so make sure to check it out as it is a part of the Season 2 update. A new season of Rocket League Sideswipe is on the horizon, and we have all the latest information just for you. There are many changes and new additions in Season 2, so buckle up and let’s look at what is new.
New Items
This season of Rocket League Sideswipe is bringing back some classic items. Some items include Supernova and Dueling Dragons Goal Explosions, Sunset 1986 Wheels, the Breakout Car, and lots more.
Make sure that you have tons of SP to purchase all these items from the item shop. A quick way to get SP is to salvage items you do not need.
Casual Matches
Casual matches are for players that want to sit back and relax. You can try all your trick shots and practice a bunch of stuff here. On top of that, you do not have to worry about your rank, as this mode is only for casual players.
New Volleyball Mode
RL Sideswipe is introducing a brand new Volleyball game mode for all players to keep things fresh. They are removing the previous basketball mode in which players had to shoot the ball through a hoop.
This time, players will have to keep the ball in the air. There will be a net in the center, and the team that lets the ball touch the ground loses. This is certainly a fun new addition that will change how you play. Plus, extra modes will rotate each season, so don’t miss out!
Rewards For Season 1
As with most games, Rocket League Sideswipe also resets your competitive ranks at the end of the season. As such, players will receive various rewards based on where they placed in the previous season.
The rewards for Season 1 include season-exclusive Titles and Quick Chat Stickers. Remember that rewards might take some time to appear after the new season starts.
