Sifu Known Issues, Bugs, and Workarounds | PC, PlayStation

Sifu just came out, and players love it. The game is well optimized, but some rare bugs and known issues can be found here and there. However, if you are facing any problems, we will give you some workarounds that you can use. You can find a compiled list of Sifu bugs and their fixes on the PC right here.

With that said, we’ve taken these issues to our own accord and therefore have compiled a few problems and their fixes that might help you out. We’ve suffered some of these issues ourselves when playing the game. Without further ado, let’s dive right in and take a look at the Sifu known issues, bugs, and their workarounds.

All Bugs, Known Issues and Fixes for Sifu

We’ve compiled a list of the most known issues alongside most of their fixes in Sifu. If you don’t see your issue listed, let us know! We’ll add it right here. Remember that some bugs will not have fixes yet as the game is relatively new. However, we will update the list as soon as they get fixed.

Keybinding Issues on PC

This seems to be one of the most common issues that PC players are reporting. The game shows you one binding in the settings, but it is entirely different when playing the game. Plus, players have complained that they cannot bind their Focus settings to any key. By default, it is unbound on PC. There doesn’t seem to be a fix for this yet, but we will keep you updated.

Tooltips Not Showing Properly

This issue also seems to be exclusive to PC. However, some PlayStation players have also reported it. It appears that this usually happens against the Botanist fight early on in the game.

Usually, players will get a tooltip when they bring the Botanist close to zero HP. However, if you are not receiving the combo-prompt, worry not because you are not alone. Hopefully, the devs will fix this issue since there is no official fix.

Game Not Downloading on PlayStation

If you are trying to download the game on PlayStation, you will notice that you either get an error or it doesn’t download at all. However, worry not because the developers are working hard to fix this. It isn’t their fault since it is an issue with the PlayStation database. The problem has been found and will be resolved soon.

GPU Usage Drops to 0%

While this is an incredibly uncommon issue, players are still facing it. After playing through the intro and the HUB section, the game will start lagging and crashing. This is because your GPU usage drops down to 0%. We are not sure why this happens but restarting the game seems to fix it.

Game Stuttering

Sometimes, the game will randomly start to stutter. This is more likely to happen on low-end systems for some reason. A quick fix would be to adjust your graphics settings. Lowering some options will grant you higher FPS and fix the stuttering issues.

Unreal Engine Crash on PC

A few players have reported that their game crashed by showing an “Unreal process has crashed” error. This is more common with users who bought the pre-release version of the game. From what we’ve seen, updating your graphics drivers or lowering your settings will fix this issue.

Note: This is an updating post! We’ll be including more information and fixes for various bugs as soon as we get our hands on them!

  1. The game shuts off my backlighting on my keyboard (Corsair K95 platinum) as soon as I launch the game. It will function normally though while playing just no backlighting/rgb will work. As soon as I quit out of the game it lights back up.
