Train Sim World 3 Day One Patch Notes, Now Live for Everyone

The developers at Dovetail Games just released Train Sim World 3 Day One update, and here we have the full patch notes for you. This game is about to unlock in a couple of hours for all the players, and they are excited to get on with all the new game content and features. Core:

  • Added immersion controls to Rhein-Ruhr Osten, Northern Trans-Pennine, East Coastway, Oakville Subdivision, Peninsula Corridor, Main Spessart Bahn routes, and MP36PH-3C Baby Bullet, MP15DC Switcher, BR182 locomotives

Great Western Express:

  • Tweaked colours of random shipping containers to reduce boldness
  • Reduced track unevenness to reduce cab sway
  • Player can now not stand back up after sitting down in the GWE Introduction

RhB Anniversary Pack:

  • RhB GE4/4 II
    • Added Rail Driver functionality in all anniversary liveries
    • [Xbox Series X] Fixed Deadmans cut-out switch in ‘Christmas Delivery’ scenario
    • [Xbox Series X] Doors were registering as open, despite being physically closed. This has now been fixed

Köln-Aachen:

  • Improved LZB activation when driving the high-speed section of the route
  • [BR 185] – minor updates to LZB functionality
  • [ICE3] – fixed bug whereby LZB B wasn’t lit when Ü was on
  • During ‘Snow and ICE’ Scenario, entering the exterior camera should not now result in performance issues
  • Passenger lights on the ICE3 should now be on when trains are driven by AI
  • Route Intro should no longer automatically load in for first time players of this route

Horseshoe Curve:

    • Brake pipe charge time fixed to be accurate to reality
  • Our Railfans got a little confused. We’ve turned their cameras around so they’re now facing the correct way
  • Fixed several level crossings across route
  • Long and short containers should now align, allowing twistlocks to close
  • Updated Speed Signs with correct speed limits
  • Added toggle to allow enabling/disabling of warning devices
  • Scoring thresholds on all scenarios have been amended, following player feedback
  • Journey Chapter 2, 10k Chicago-Allenstown should no longer be blocked by a red light

Miscellaneous:

Sand Patch Grade:

  • Coal should now visually load during Coal Loading tutorial when in external camera
  • C40-8W and CSX YN3 GP38-2 – independent brake should now work to correct pressure when in multi-loco consists
  • Route Intro should no longer automatically load in for first-time players of this route

Northern Trans-Pennine:

  • Re-established pathing of trains through Huddersfield for Scenario Planner functionality
