The latest season of YuGiOh Master Duel has launched and players are extremely excited to get back into the action. With the start of a new season, there will be a new ranked season as well. If you want to be competitive and climb up in rank, you’ll want to know which decks are strong and which ones to avoid.
Since the meta has finally become a little stable, we can make a tier list after experimenting with tons of decks. Some were quite strong whereas others were lacking in power. With that said, let’s dive right in and take a look at the Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Season 3 decks tier list.
Master Duel Decks Tier List: Ranked Season 3
Before we begin, we know that you might not agree with all of our picks – and that’s fine! We would love to know which decks you are using and why do you think your favorite one should have made the list. With that in mind, let’s get started and find out which decks are the best in Season 3 ranked.
We have divided this Yu Gi Oh Master Duel tier list into three sections. Each section will include various decks depending on their usefulness, effectiveness, abilities, and how well they perform in competitive modes. The S-Tier decks are naturally the best whereas the B-Tier decks should be avoided in ranked modes.
S-Tier
The decks added in the S-Tier are helpful in all situations, no matter the circumstance. They have the best abilities and traits in the game. Not only that, but some of the decks in this tier are easy to play even if you are a new player.
Virtual World
The first deck in S-Tier is the Virtual World (VW) deck. This deck is extremely strong due to its synchro options and overall consistency. On top of that, the deck has one of the strongest cards in Yu Gi Oh right now, the True King of All Calamities. This card allows you to stop your opponents from activating their monster effects on two separate turns.
Dryton
If you like to make first-turn plays, then the Dryton deck is ideal for you. This deck is insanely good at being able to play around hand traps. If your opponent doesn’t know how to react to it, chances are that you’ll win easily.
Tri-Brigade
Players looking for a mid-range will love the Tri-Brigade deck. Plus, there are two variants of this deck so the variety is there. You can choose the one that suits your playstyle best. The Zoodiac variant is insanely strong and is quite resilient. The second variant – The Bird Up – includes tons of interruptions that can displace enemy strategy and force them to adapt to your playstyle.
A-Tier
Decks in the A tier have dynamic abilities that are pretty effective in certain situations. They are good in some situations but may lack behind in others. Plus, these decks are a little challenging to use, especially for newer players.
Adamancipator
This combo is one of the most complex ones in Yu Gi Oh. It became famous during the pandemic period since people discovered its true potential. The Block Dragon is the backbone of this deck. You can use that card to enable your entire combo and defeat your opponents.
Elditch
Elditch is an extremely strong deck that has tons of potential. However, the thing keeping it in A-Tier instead of S-Tier is its lack of skill expression. The best part about this deck is that it can disrupt your opponent a lot due to its stun potential thanks to the floodgate trap cards.
B-Tier
These decks aren’t necessarily bad, but they are not the most effective in the game. Their abilities are highly dependent on the situation. On top of that, they have a steep learning curve, making it almost impossible for new players to pick them up.
Sky Striker
The Sky Striker deck is an extremely strong deck with great cards. Then why is it in B-Tier you might ask? That’s because this deck is great at drawn-out games. But the current meta favors decks that win the game in the first turn or in the early game. However, even then, this deck is the best control deck in Yu Gi Oh Master Duel.
Prank-Kids
This deck is simple and easy to use. You can use this deck to wipe out your opponent’s hand and give yourself a second chance to win the game. However, the reason why it’s in B-Tier is that it is extremely dependent on the situation. Plus, there are tons of better options available out there.
Those are the best decks in Yu Gi Oh Master Duel Season 3. We would love to know which deck you are using and do you agree with our list? Let us know in the comments below!
