Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is currently the most-popular game from the recent releases, on Steam and here we list down all the known issues. A game that has just launched doesn’t come fully optimized and there is always a long list of bugs and problems that developers slowly fix in future updates.
We have already seen several updates to the game that fix a lot of smaller issues, but there is still plenty for the team to work on. Issues like missing performance parts, missing brake and throttle in Test Drive and missing out on ABS module have been identified below for your reference and will be updated when fixed.

Missing Performance Parts
There are several performance parts missing in the game. You can go through the list below:
List of missing parts:
R6 tuning parts – carburettors, Air filters
Front exhaust V8 OHV
Rear exhaust V8 OHV
I6 distributor cap
V12 – missing most tuning parts
Proton EV charger. The other EV engines has it.
V8 DOHC supercharger engine. Missing Supercharger tuning part, missing camshaft
Supa engine BU2 T, missing camshaft tuning part. Missing front exhaust tuning part.

No Throttle / Brake in Test Drive
This was an issues that only affect a small number of players who started playing since the very first release – v1.0.0.
To fix issue you need :
1) run regedit
WINDOWS KEY + R, type regedit
run it (with administrator rights)2) go into HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Red Dot Games\
3)click on “Car Mechanic Simulator 2021” folder, and delete
This will delete game settings and should clear out broken keys
After that if you on QWERTY keyboard it should work. When on AZERTY you need to rebind again in game settings.
Can’t Buy ABS Module
In case you can’t find the ABS module, it has been shifted to another location:
Certain parts are no longer located In parts shop like previous CMS version
If you cannot find a part please check The electronic shop

Can’t also find spark plugs, ignition coils and Timing Belt (i4 B).
Game will not launch after update. Gets to 80 % and will not go any further. Tried reinstalling 2 times and still same result.

It’s the bolt cape supercharger it’s glitch won’t load ur game past 80 hope they fix it

Did everything on car and its telling me I’m missing a hood but I clearly see the hood on car and advice

My renovator Upgrades aren’t working, I’m at renovator 4, but it still says they’re locked.
The rim size is not fix
Cant change Power steering fluid on first job.
I had that problem, panned the camera down and the fluid wasnt filled enough
When i buy a part it does not show up on the assembly
still can’t drive or brake on go backward any solution ??

I’ve completed two different orders now & when I go to finish them it says “hood is missing” & neither of the jobs required the hood coming off. Hopefully you guys can fix soon cause I have 10k waiting for me once I can turn those orders in.
Same here! Plus there’s no way to even end the job as incomplete. I’ve tried buying a new hood, which is the only other option I could think of because I haven’t yet unlocked the ability to fix body parts as yet… Really hope they fix it soon because the car is now just sitting out front, taking up valuable space…
Just purchased 3 Barn vehicles (can’t recall what they are) and sent them to the Garage. On return to garage I get the “Problem with the following assets: V8 OHV Windsor” error with 2 options (Quit & repatch or Continue & cars/parts removed). Similar issue was had with CMS 2018 (Ford DLC), but no Ford DLC for CMS 21.
I have not got the update version 1.5 and they talk about 1.6 now how can I get it do I need to redownload it or what
Unable to put front plate on Royals Town causing me to be able to finish order.
The plate is blocked by the bumper but the bumper has to be put on the car first before the white outline of the plate will show up.
About 6k tied up in car and no way to finish.

Remove the fan and radiator and you can angle from the engine bay to install it

I am doing a story car and front it won’t let me put a licensed plate on it to finish it I tried switching front bumpers still can’t any 1 got any answers

I can’t finish the story mission 11 i think it is, it’s the royale Town. It says That the hood is missing but i never tok the hood off in the first place. I have tried to take off the hood and put it back on but it won’t work, i tried to relode the game but i still can’t finish the Job.
Buy a new hood for it

TLDR: can’t complete jobs.
So I had an issue with the 80% loading time after the latest update on ps4. I waited 5 minutes and it finally loaded. But now im having a problem where I have 2 cars in the garage. I fixed one completely. Then went to finish the job. And it said hood was missing. It wasn’t. But I figured maybe it was a bug from the update so I bought a new hood. Installed it. And then it said front bumper was missing. Rinse and repeat. Rear bumper missing, again I replaced it. Right headlight missing. You see where this is going. Restarted the game. Reloaded my save. Same issue. I even tried finishing the job incomplete. Says the same things. So I don’t know if this is a bug throughout the game. Or just with the cars I had in the garage that were effected by the update. Just figured I would throw this out there to let people know and see if I’m the only one having these problems. Im gonna do some more testing and I will update when I know more. But let me know if you guys are having the same problems.

I can’t put new wheels on the car only allows me to put the old ones even if all the sizes and dimensions of the old wheels are exactly the same

I’ll load into the game and try to load into my save but it quits the game before it finishes loading into my save it gets to around 80% then crashes
