Here’s everything you need to know about all the new changes, buffs, and nerfs made to guns in COD Mobile Season 1 (2021). The update is going to be releasing on the 27th of January. So, it’s just right around the corner! Some guns, such as the ASM-10, have been changed quite a bit in this update. Today, we’re going to be showing you all the buffs and nerfs you can expect in the newest season.
Like any other seasonal update in COD Mobile, the developers were hard at work trying to listen to community feedback and take any constructive criticism from them. As a result, guns like the ASM 10 and GKS, which were heavily criticized by the community, have been heavily changed to appease fans.
Season 1 (2021) Buffs and Nerfs
For this Season, guns are perhaps the only real part of the game that have been buffed or nerfed at all. Surprisingly, most perks and operator skills remained untouched, with the Annihilator being the only anomaly. Moreover, only a few guns were actually nerfed or buffed, which means there is a high chance that the meta from the previous season will simply carry on, and there will be no real major changes, which is a bit of a surprise.

Man-O-War
Buffed or Nerfed? Buffed
The Man-O-War is an iconic weapon but is sadly not used by a lot. This low usage might come to an end with the Man-O-War now having its shells increased by a large number.
ASM-10
Buffed or Nerfed? Nerfed
The ASM-10 had a particularly pesky Gunsmith loadout that provided it with a lot of range and recoil with almost no loss on its base stats. Thankfully, the gun’s firing range has been reduced quite a bit, and the particular Gunsmith loadout that revolved around the rear grip tape is not as effective.
DR-H
Buffed or Nerfed? Buffed
The DR-H didn’t really have slow reload speeds, to begin with. However, the recent update has reduced the time needed to fully reload the gun, allowing you to shred down players with less down-time.
Annihilator
Buffed or Nerfed? Nerfed
The one-shot revolver was extremely annoying to deal against if you had a Shield Turret or a Chopper up and running. Thankfully, the Annihilator will now deal less damage to a Shield Turret, XS1 Goliath, Stealth Chopper, VTOL, and Transform Shield.
Season 1 Major Gun Changes / Buffs and Nerfs
As of yet, there is no real major change made to any gun in Season 1. While the ASM-10 has been nerfed, it is definitely still viable with a different Gunsmith Loadout. Moreover, the Annihilator is still strong in long-range situations, while the DR-H remains an obscure pick in the meta.
This concludes everything you needed to know about Season 1 Buffs and Nerfs for Call of Duty: Mobile. Stay tuned for more news!
