Dying Light 2 Campaign Duration / Time (PC, Xbox, PlayStation)

Dying Light 2: Stay Human had been making rounds releasing information for the game, like screen shots to build up fan’s hype. With a dedicated show known as “Dying 2 Know” drip feeding the community about the development of the game.

On January 8, 2022, Dying Light tweeted that the game will require a total of 500 hours to complete the game. With not much information given with such an absurd number fans started to speculate that the game’s main story will require this much time. People got worried that the game might be aiming for quantity over quality.

Two days after the 500 hours fiasco, the same twitter account posted an image giving context to the number.

Dying Light 2 Hour Breakdown

Telling the audience that the game will require 20 hours to beat the main story alone, 80 hours if we include the Side quests, and 500 hours if the players want to experience everything the game has to offer. Even with this clarification, the game has major potential seeing the maximum number you can put into it.

This 500 hours can be even more fun if the players opt for the 4 players co-op option and help each other progress with each player retaining the progress they made helping others out. Players can even vote for the major decision that will impact the overall story.

Wasay has never set boundaries on what type of games he likes, he has dabbled in many genres but none can run the test of time as a good single-player experience regardless of AAA or Indie. Narrative-based and Soulsborne are his weakness. His all-time favorites are God of War, Hollow Knight, Marvel's Spiderman, Elden Ring, Nier: Automata, Bloodborne and he can go on and on.
