What is Elden Ring Singleplayer Campaign Story Length?

Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated games of 2022 and its single-player campaign duration has been the talk of the industry since the developers have announced it. After so many delays the game is finally set for release on February 25, 2022. In this short guide, we look into the details of the campaign story length and time to complete it.

Since everyone will play the game differently and at various paces, the time may vary. However, after taking reviews and our own experience into consideration, we came to a conclusion about playtime. With that said, let’s dive right in and find out what is Elden Ring’s campaign story length.

Elden Ring Campaign Duration / Time for Mode

According to the leaked trophies and various reviews, we can conclude that Elden Ring will be somewhere between 60 to 80 hours. However, keep in mind that this depends on your pacing and how fast you can clear the bosses. We would love to see speedruns of Elden Ring and see how swiftly the community can clear the game. Given that the game features a vast open world, it’s no surprise that the game takes this long to beat. Plus, if you’re stuck at a particular boss, you will obviously take longer to complete the game.

For a game that was highly anticipated, players will be excited to find out the playtime. However, the game might feature some optional bosses so if you skip them, you can finish the game even faster. This is the biggest and most ambitious game in the Souls series.

Here are all the regions that you can explore in Elden Ring:

  • Limgrave
  • Liurnia of the Lakes
  • Altus Plateau
  • Caelid
  • Leyndell, Royal Capital
  • Ainsel River
  • Siofra River
  • Other subareas in between

Bosses are spread throughout these regions and you have to find them to defeat them. That being said, we can safely say that there won’t be any shortage of content. Players will be playing the game for the coming weeks if not months.

There you have it, the highly anticipated Elden Ring is finally coming out on February 25 and we cannot wait to dive in and play the game. Needless to say, I will be spending a lot of time playing the game with multiple playthroughs. We would love to hear your thoughts on the length of the game and whether you are excited about it or not.
