Epic Games adds various challenges and quests in Fortnite to keep the game fresh and allow players to earn extra XP. Season 1 of Fortnite will be coming to an end soon so Epic has gone ahead and added a new challenge for players to complete. If you want to quickly level up your Chapter 3 Battle Pass, doing this week’s quest will be beneficial.
This quest includes seven challenges that are all chicken-themed. You will be able to locate new animals roaming around the map called Loot Chickens. They are like the normal chickens but they drop better loot. With that said, let’s dive right in and take a look at the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Avian Ambush week rewards.

Each challenge will reward the player with 8,000 XP – a total of 56,000 XP – which is superb to level up your Battle Pass. To make things interesting, all other wildlife has been removed from the map. However, you can find Chickens, Crows, and Klombos all over the map during this quest.
- Throw Chickens (5)
- Slide for 30 meters continuously while holding a Chicken
- Open a vault while holding a Chicken
- Hunt a Loot Chicken or Crow (2)
- Fly with a Chicken for 20 meters in a single flight
- Catch a chicken in different matches (3)
- Bounce on a tire, umbrella, or Web Bouncer 3 consecutive times while holding a chicken
All of these challenges are quite simple and easy to complete so you shouldn’t have any trouble completing them. Since all of them include chickens, make sure that you drop to a location that has tons of chickens. However, be careful since the majority of the players will also be looking to do the same thing. Since this is a new challenge, you’ll have to fight other players to continue with the quest.
You can jump right in and start completing this challenge right now. However, keep in mind that it will end on March 15 at 7 AM PST / 9 AM EST / 2 PM GMT. So make sure that you complete the challenges and earn the valuable XP before that.
