Genshin Impact Update 1.4 is about to be released on all platforms. As such, the developers have provided us with a sneak peek of what events we can expect from the new update. These events range from ones that will be added permanently to the game and those that will only be available for a limited amount of time. In any case, you can expect all of these to make an experience in the game as soon as the update goes live.
Currently, we’re expecting six events to be coming to Genshin Impact as soon as the update hits. We’ll also be covering the complete patch notes for update 1.4 as soon as it’s live in all regions. Read on to learn about all the events you can expect!
Genshin Impact ‘Invitation of Windblume’ Event Details
The first main event of the new update is titled ‘Invitation of Windblume’ and will last from the 19th of March to the 4th of April. The event features a large number of quests that you must complete in order to attain exclusive rewards. The list of rewards are:
- Primogems
- Crown of Insight
- Windblume Ode (Bow)
- The Visible Winds
Hangout Events: Series 1
Travelers who have reached the required Adventurer Rank and have done the pre-requisite quests can use their Story Keys to unlock Hangout Events. Currently, these new Hangout Events are available for Barbara, Noelle, Chonygun, and Bennett. All of these events are available permanently after the Version 1.4 update.
Event Wish: Ballad in Goblets
From the Version 1.4 update till the 4th of June 2021, you can unlock the event-exclusive 5-star character “Windborne Brand” Venti (Anemo.) Moreover, you can also get the 4-star characters, “Harmless Sweetie” Sucrose (Anemo), “Wolf Boy” Razor (Elector), and “Chivalric Blossom” Noelle (Geo) will also receive a huge drop-rate boost.

Daily Login Event: Outland Gastronomy
From after the Version 1.4 update till the 1st of April 2021, you can log in on seven days during the event to obtain tons of exclusive rewards! Here’s a list of all the rewards you can get:
- Day 1: Hero’s Writ (x3)
- Day 2: Recipe Collection: Exotic Gourmet (x1)
- Day 3: Primogems (x100)
- Day 4: Mora (x50000)
- Day 5: Hero’s Wit (x5)
- Day 6: Recipe: Golden Fried Chicken
- Day 7: Primogems
Event Wish: Epitome Invocation
From after the Version 1.4 Update till the 6th of April 2021, the following weapons will recieve a huge drop-rate boost:
- Event-Exclusive 5-Star Weapon Elegy for the End (Bow)
- 5-Star Weapon Skyward Blade (Sword)
- Event-Exclusive 4-Star Weapons The Alley Flash (Sword)
- Wine and Song (Catalyst)
- 4-Star Weapons Favonious Greatsword (Claymore)
- Favonius Warbow (Bow)
- Dragon’s Bane (Polearm)
Test Run Character Trial Event
From after the Version 1.4 update till the 6th of April 2021. For this event, you need to have unlocked the Wish system earlier. During this event, Travelers can use a fixed lineup containing selected trial characters and can enter specific stages to est them out. You can complete the trials now to receive the corresponding rewards!
Adventurer’s Booster Bundles
During this entire event, two bundles will recieve a 10% off. These are:
- Adventurer’s Instructional Bundle
- Adventurer’s Jumbo Ore Bundle
Windborne Blossoms
Travelers can now earn rich rewards in “Windborne Blossoms.” You can also unlock “Gnostic Hymn” or “Gnostic Chorus” to earn Intertwined Fates and get a 4-star weapon. You can also purchase the Gnostic Chorus to get the exclusive BP namecard “Travel Notes: Windblume.”
