Gluttony Legendary Pistol Weapon Guide for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

One of the most addicting and enjoyable aspects of the Borderlands series was the hunt for the legendary weapons. These are orange rarity guns that are some of the best and most unique weapons in the entire game. Akin to Borderlands tradition, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands also has a ton of unique and fun to use legendary weapons that can make your experience significantly more enjoyable.

One such weapon in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the Gluttony Legendary Pistol, this is a Feriore pistol meaning the real damage of the weapons comes from its reloads making rapid ammo consumption one of its more worrying problems. Getting this weapon is relatively simple task as players need to get to an obelisk and fight only a handful of enemies followed by a boss. So without further ado, here’s how you can get your hands on the Gluttony Pistol in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands:

  • Teleport to Queen’s Gate – Clopping Road.
  • Make your way to the obelisk at the left most side of the map.
  • Make sure you have previously cleared out the ocean in Queen’s Gate by progressing the main story or you won’t be able to get to the obelisk.

Is the Gluttony Pistol Worth it?

Gluttony1

The Gluttony is a fairly good Feriore pistol which means the brunt of your damage will be from your reloads. Make sure you have high max ammo capacity on the pistol if you intend to get the most out of its special attribute.

The weapon’s flavor text reads “Equivalent Exchange” which is likely a reference to the anime and manga series Fullmetal Alchemist where one of the most often mentioned law of alchemy is referred to as the “Law of equivalent exchange”, which states that matter can neither be created nor destroyed, in order to create something with alchemy, something of equal value must be given. This is called the law of equivalent exchange.

The special attribute of this weapon makes it so that every time you throw the weapon it will take out half of your health bar and summon a small dagger tornado wherever you throw the weapon. The damage from the tornado will heal the players HP. Players can also keep throwing the weapon after losing half of their HP without taking any health damage.

Below player can see all the pros and cons for using this weapon:

Pros Cons
Very high damage on weapon reload.Weak primary fire.
Can heal damage overtime from the dagger tornado.Reloading the weapon takes away half your health bar.
Can trap enemies in the tornado for massive damage.Initial explosion can end up knocking enemies away from the tornado.
Weapon reload can be used as main source of damage.High ammo cost.
High Magazine capacity.Likely to run out of ammo faster because each magazine consumes more ammo.

While the primary fire on this weapon is fairly decent and does good dark damage, using the special ability of this weapon is its highlight. This makes it a pretty average weapon for most players unless they have very high pistol ammo capacity. The high magazine size of the weapon also makes it so that throwing it recklessly will result in you running out of ammo faster than Borderlands 3’s writers ran out of good jokes.

All in all, the Gluttony is a decent weapon to shoot for you if you don’t have any other legendaries but we wouldn’t recommend throwing away some of your other legendary weapons if you already have some.
