Genshin Impact: How to Defeat Fellflower Boss
Like many other bosses in Genshin Impact, this boss also has a shield that you have to destroy in order to damage it. While you might think that this boss is weak to pyro attacks since it is a Cyro-type enemy, he isn’t actually weak to pyro attacks. The process to defeat this enemy is a bit tricky but don’t worry, we have you covered.
How to Break the Shield of the Fellflower
As soon as you begin the fight, you’ll notice three Arcane fruits hovering around the boss. To destroy his massive shield, you will have to break all three fruits. Keep in mind that these fruits are not harmless. They all attack the player in different ways. Each of them has a unique attack that the player must avoid.
Fruit 1
The first fruit will do a teleporting attack where it teleports above your character’s head and does a small slam attack. Avoiding this is relatively easy but if you do not keep your eyes on the fruit, it might ambush you. We suggest using ranged characters to deal with the fruits to take them out without hassle.
This fruit has low HP which can be depleted quickly. Keep on dodging its attacks and attack it from a distance. After destroying this fruit, you will find three Arcane Essence items laying on the floor. Pick one of them up quickly otherwise, the boss consumes them and regains his shield. Another thing to keep in mind is that picking these items will lower your health. That is why we recommend that you have a healer in your party.
Fruit 2
The second fruit always floats in the air. Once again, you will want to use an Archer or any other ranged character to deal with it. This fruit doesn’t do much other than throw small snowball-type projectiles at the player. You can use your attacks to destroy the snowballs as well to knock down the boss. This fruit is easily destroyed and like the previous one, it leaves three Arcane Essence items. Repeat the process of picking them up and healing your character to damage the boss’s shield.
Fruit 3
This fruit is always on the ground and attacks you from below. It summons four Cyro slimes that slowly move towards your characters and damage them. To deal with the slimes, we suggest using DPS characters. You can use the same characters to destroy this final fruit and pick up the item to completely destroy the shield of the Fellflower.
Destroying the fruits is the main part of this battle. You should be able to deal with them relatively easily.
