How to Grow Crops in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

The latest entry in the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Legends: Arceus includes a farming mechanic which lets the players grow crops later to be used as crafting resources. This feature will allow players to have an abundant supply of crafting material without the need to hunt them in the open world.

If you don’t want to get frustrated with fewer materials in your inventory this feature will make things easy for you in the long run. To have a steady stream of crafting material players need to focus and use this feature, so that they may not run out of material when enjoying their journey.

How to Farm for Crops in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus farming mechanics will require different Pokémon to use their abilities to upgrade your fields. Different abilities of Pokémon like Dig, Use Water, and Rock smash will let the players grow their farming operation.

Farming crops can be initiated soon after the game begins. Just across the main shops of Jubilife City, the field is located where you can start your farming of crafting materials, berries, and/or medicinal herbs, a man will be standing right in front of the fields who will give you the option on what to plant.

The man will charge you a small fee to grow these crops:

  • Berries: 500 Pokedollars
  • Medical herbs: 1,000 Pokedollars

The crops will grow while you are on your adventure in the open world, crops usually take a couple of hours to grow and be ready for harvest. Do remember to go back to the fields to harvest the crops you have planted. Each harvest will result in dozens of herbs and berries respectively so keep in mind to use this feature and reap the benefits of what you sow!
