How to Pick Up Loot Outside of The Map in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

One of the most frustrating things that can happen in any Borderlands game including Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is fighting a badass or boss enemy, seeing the geyser of loot flow out and then down a hard-to-approach ledge that can get you killed. The series did overcome this issue with the option to collect all lost loot through a vendor which was introduced in Borderlands 3 but it can still happen from time to time.

Thankfully there is a way to alleviate these issues in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. While this is a pretty tedious and frankly annoying way to get past this issue. It works and that’s all that matters in the end, or at least until Gearbox does something about it, which they did, as you can collect lost loot through a vendor since Borderlands 3 but that might not always work.

How to Pick Up Loot Outside of The Map

Loot

The way to pick up loot in hard-to-reach places can be a little tricky. Players will have to rely on the photo mode in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands to get close to the object and press the interact button as fast as possible to pick up the weapon or item in question.

To do this simply enter photo mode and customize the settings just enough that you’re almost poking distance away from the item. When you close to the item, close photo mode and keep hammering the interact button hoping your character will pick the item up. Is it annoying and frustrating? Sure but does it work? Absolutely.

And that’s how you can pick up loot from out-of-bounds areas in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands!

Is This A Bug Or A Feature?

Ah, the most profound question of all – is loot dropping out of the map a bug or a feature? As of yet, it seems like it’s a pleasant surprise that wasn’t really intended by the developers. While there has been no real comment by the developers as to whether this issue actually was intended, we can presume that it probably wasn’t.

Besides that though, there might be an update for Tiny Tina’s Wonderland incoming that ends up fixing this issue. We’ll let you know if that happens; stay tuned to our Patch Notes section.
