How to Collect the Shadow Island Token in Lost Ark?

You can collect island tokens to get special rewards in Lost Ark. All islands require you to complete some prerequisites before you can acquire the token for that island.

To collect the Shadow Island Token, you need to finish the Shadow Mark quest. This quest unlocks a new chain of quests, and completing those will let you meet Captain Zardin. He will task you to climb to the 24th floor of the Shadespire tower, grab the loot and then go back to him to get the island token.

Lost Ark Shadow Island Quests

Shadow Island has multiple questlines (6 in total) for you to complete and claim rewards from. All of the quests, their locations, and rewards have been mentioned below for your convenience.

To the Shadespire

This straightforward quest requires you to talk to Captain Zardin, who is at the docks, and then proceed towards the Tower. Once you get to the Tower, you’ll need to talk to Rakil to finish the quest and get the following mats:

  • Courage (1)
  • Silver (900)
  • Splendid Guardian Stone Fragment Chest (10)
  • Splendid Destruction Stone Fragment Chest (7)
  • Splendid Shard Chest [M] (8)

The Scent of Blood

To start the Scent of Blood quest, you need to talk to Mercenary Ganecron. You’ll find him on the 2nd floor of the Tower.

The quest tasks you to go to the 4th floor and talk to Kangai, only to find out that Kangai is dead. Brief Rakil about this situation to complete the quest and claim the following rewards:

  • Splendid Harmony Leapstone Chest (6)
  • Silver (1650)
  • Splendid Destruction Stone Fragment Chest (13)
  • Splendid Guardian Stone Fragment Chest (27)

Vile Debris

Once you find Jenkrix at the same spot where Rakil usually stands, head to the 2nd floor and kill the demons there to collect Vile Debris. Collect 100 in total to finish the quest and claim your rewards.

Debris Gatherer

You might feel some Déjà vu here as this quest is an exact copy of the previous quest. Do everything all over again and claim a new set of rewards:

  • Silver (1650)
  • Splendid Destruction Stone Fragment Chest (14)
  • Splendid Harmony Leapstone Chest (6)

An Important Record

Climb to the 5th Floor of the Tower after talking to Ryndon and defeating Rictus. If you reach the 5th floor and Rictus doesn’t spawn, don’t panic!

This boss takes about 5-6mins to spawn. Once he appears, defeat him and finish the quest to gain the following mats:

  • Lavish Harmony Leapstone Chest
  • Wisdom (3)
  • Splendid Destruction Stone Fragment Chest (17)
  • Silver (2100)
  • Lavish Guardian Stone Fragment Chest (4)

Shadows Mark (Island Token Prerequisite)

This is the final quest on Shadow Island. It’ll require you to kill 50 bosses in the Tower to finish the quest and gain the Shadow Island Token as well as the following rewards:

  • Splendid Destruction Stone Fragment Chest (8)
  • Silver (900)
  • Splendid Guardian Stone Fragment Chest (14)
  • Lavish Shard Chest [M]
