The latest entry to 2K’s NBA series is now out and here you can read through all of NBA 2K23 known issues, bugs and workarounds that you can try. Every year we see a new NBA 2K game, and sadly, every year the game is filled with a huge amount of bugs and gameplay issues that puts of regular basketball fans.
We have put together a list of the most important NBA 2K23 known issues and bugs that some of them have been acknowledged by the developers, and some are still being reported by the players over the weekend. We can expect an early game update or patch next week that should definitely fix some of the following glitches and issues.

Game crashes and kicks to desktop everytime
One of the users have reported that the game keeps on crashing at the match loading screen and goes back to the desktop.
So frustrating, whenever I enter the loading screen of a match the game crashes when it completes 100%. My pc setup exceeds the game’s requirements, so I don’t know what could be happening.
Note: If your Intel processor does not run AVX, that means it is incompatible with this game.

PS5 Championship Edition Pre-Order all bonus content missing
There seem to be a lot of complaints of players who cannot access the bonus content or the pre-order rewards that are suppose to be there at the launch.
I preordered the PS5 Championship edition. I’ve successfully signed into both the ps4 and ps5 versions of the game. All of my bonus content is still missing. I also purchased this on the Xbox platform and on that platform all bonus content was immediately available upon initial sign-in. Is anyone else experiencing this? Should I wait some more or put in a ticket? After spending 150.00 I really don’t want to spend more to bring my player up to some semblance of a level he might be able to actually play anything. Thanks!
The 100,000 VC for the Michael Jordan Edition or Championship Edition is only awarded once – since your wallet is shared between the Playstation 4 and 5 or the Xbox One and X|S you can access it from either platform.

Error Message: “USERDATA” Corruption
We know some NBA 2K23 players are receiving an error message that reads “‘UserData’ file has been corrupted and is unable to be loaded.” This error message appears after the reserved space was cleared.
Reserved space data will be re-downloaded by the game, but if the process is canceled (after the game rebooted), you’ll no longer be able to play any online modes or access any of their online connected files.
To ensure that the data is downloaded correctly, please attempt the following:
- Load the game.
- Select the Play Now option. Do NOT head into a game.
- Don’t you do it.
- Please stay on that menu.
If you’re playing on a PlayStation 4, you can leave your console in Rest Mode while the data is downloading.
After a few hours (or longer, depending on your internet connection), you will receive a notification in yellow font on the bottom left of your screen telling you to return to the main menu. Once you do, your game will be fully updated and your reserved data will be reinstalled.
Note: Do not delete a game’s reserved space on your hard drive.
MyCAREER Bug
There seem to be a widespread MyCAREER bug faced by a lot of players, specifically on the PC platform.
I have been attempting to purchase VC since the game released and it keeps saying access denied. I have attempted everything that google has told me but im seeing that some people are able to buy. I can purchase anything else in Steam I just cannot purchase VC.

NBA 2K23 Promenade Deck Low FPS
It seems fine on the top level, but as soon as you go down a level, the FPS drops in NBA 2K23 with a lot of lag. This seems to be a GPU setting issue.
Anyone experiencing Lag when entering Promenade? I only experience low FPS in Promenade the rest of the location are all fine.
