If you own an iOS device, an iPhone, or an iPad you will now be able to use the PS5’s DualSense Controller and the Xbox Series X controllers as well with the new iOS Update 14.5. The update itself has just been launched as a beta and can be downloaded for those who have a registered Developer Apple account.
iOS 14.5 will also be including a plethora of new features. You can now unlock your phone with using Face ID using your Apple Watch. Moreover, Siri emergency contact calling and dual-sim 5G support has also been added. You can expect the update to be dropping out soon.
How to Download iOS 14.5 for PS5 DualSense
iOS Update 14.5 has still not been released to the public as it is still quite buggy and unpolished. However, you can get the update if you have a registered developer account. Here are the steps you need to follow:
- Head on to developer.apple.com on your Mac device.
- Click on the Discover tab.
- Find iOS at the top of your screen and download iOS 14.5
- Log in with your Developer account credentials when asked to do so.
- Restore the image on the device you wish to install it to. (We recommend making a backup before doing so.)
If you do not have a developer account, you are sadly out of luck. However, the update will be rolling out in the next few months anyways. So, you might just need to wait a bit longer.
