PUBG Mobile 1.9 Leaks: New Weapons, Vehicles, Game Modes, and More!

PUBG Mobile is back with another update tease and we have complete information on it for you to read. There seems to be a brand new update hitting the shores of PUBG right after the anniversary and fans can’t help but be hyped about it. As the update is expected to come out titled as the PUBG Fourth Anniversary Update, it is likely going to be a big one!

There will be lots of new modes, events, and features to explore. The total size for this update has not been revealed but keep your eyes peeled as the more we get closer to the update time, the more leaks will start to surface. Here is what we know about the PUBG Mobile update 1.9.0 so far.

PUBG Mobile Update 1.9 Release Date

The release date for the update itself has not been released but as we know, PUBG Mobile was initially released on February 9, 2018. So it only makes sense for the update to rollover near the February 9 range. PUBG Mobile 1.9 Upcoming Features

Fans can expect a minimum of two features to show up in this big update as they have been dominant in the beta server for a while now and it’s only about time they get released in the live servers. Here are the new features we are expecting to be released in PUBG MObile update 1.9.

Weapon Throw

While the idea of being able to throw your weapon on someone sounds crazy, it might actually be partially coming true as the new update will enable players to be able to through their melee weapons on other players to inflict damage.

Now you won’t have to worry if you run out of ammo mid-combat. This will also unlock more fun little ways to teabag newbies and knocked down enemies.

Emergency Pickup

The Emergency Pickup has always been a feature that has been widely popular in both the Beta and PC versions of PUBG and it is only about time we will be seeing it in the mobile version with PUBG Mobile’s 4th Anniversary Update.

The players can find an emergency pickup item which they can then use to call an airplane which can let them relocate to another location as soon as possible.

Self Revive Kit

Self Revive Kit is yet another feature that has been popular in the beta versions. As the name suggests, the kit can let a knocked-down player revive him/herself. This can be a very good way to fool your enemies and catch them off guard. However, the same tactic can be used against you so make sure you finish the deed whenever possible.

It is not yet clear if this kit will be coming with the PUBG Mobile Update 1.9.0 but it will be nothing short of greatness if it does.

Vehicles & Weapons in PUBG Mobile Update 1.9

There is a very high chance that we will be seeing the arrival of a new vehicle and weapon in the new PUBG Mobile update. While these additions might not seem as strong at first, they can potentially change the entire meta of the game.

ATV

ATV, as the name suggests is a two-seater vehicle that can traverse many terrains with ease. The main disadvantage of this vehicle is the lack of protection it has but hey, anything works as long as you get to reach the safe zone.

Bicycle

Bicycle is yet another vehicle that might be coming to the new PUBG Mobile Update 1.9.0 however, it is still unconfirmed whether it will really make it this update or not. Unlike other vehicles, the bicycle is spread in the maps as a pickable and storable item that can then be unfolded anywhere you want.

This vehicle costs no fuel and while not as fast as a Dasia, it can still provide a speed decent enough to help you reach the zone before the timer. The Bicycle is already available in the PC version of PUBG and is a nice addition to the game overall.

AMR

LYNX AMR is a brand new sniper rifle that will stand on equal grounds with AWM and will be collectible from the Air Drops. Players can expect the damage of AMR to top that of an AWM however, it will come will lesser ammo than AWM so you can weigh the pros and cons according to the map and the state of the game.

The LYNX AMR has been present in the Beta server and has been an absolute menace of a gun. It will surely be a treat for the sniper mains to test out their skills.

Upcoming Modes in PUBG Mobile Update 1.9.0

The new Anniversary update will be introducing two new extremely fun game modes that will introduce a new way of playing PUBG with your friends. Further details of these modes have been mentioned below.

Anniversay Mode

Similar to the previous Anniversary updates, players can expect to see new theme parks popping on the maps at random locations. These locations usually gave great loot and are hot drops for most of the players. While it has not been officially confirmed, it is highly likely that this tradition will continue in the PUBG Mobile 1.9.0 update.

8v8 TDM Mode

As a brand new addition to the PUBG Mobile play modes, 8v8 Team Deathmatch will be coming in the 4th Anniversary update. While PUBG Mobile already has a TDM mode that is playable with 4 players. This new mode will add to the fun by letting bigger lobbies join in the fun with a bigger map named Santorini.

PUBG Mobile New Battle Pass & More

With the new battle pass set to end on February 15, players can expect to hear announcements related to the new royale passes M9 and M10. It hasn’t been revealed yet as to what kind of outfits and cosmetics will be coming along with these passes but fans can’t help but get excited as PUBG Mobile’s fashion sense has been top-notch every season!

There is also a high chance for a new collaboration event to pop up in the new update but it is still unknown whether PUBG Mobile will introduce a new event or if they will simply bring in the Lamborghini event from PUBG. Regardless, fans can be hopeful that this will be another banger of an event.
