Rune Factory 4 Special has been released worldwide and players can’t get enough of the remastered life simulator. The game was initially released for Nintendo Switch earlier in 2020, however, Neverland has now made it possible to play the game on PC and Consoles.
The Special version of Rune Factory 4 is actually a remaster for the original game, featuring the ‘Another Episode’ DLC along with a new extra-hard difficulty called “Hell”. The simulation will include all aspects of the original Rune Factory 4, ranging from growing crops to building relationships with characters in-game.
Rune Factory 4 Special Price and Release Date
Among other new content, Rune Factory 4 Special has also been given a “Newlywed Mode” which introduces special episodes relating to married life with the game’s characters. The game will be costing you $29.99 and is available to purchase and play on the following platforms:
- PlayStation 4
- Xbox Series X|S
- Xbox One
- PC
Fortunately, on your purchase of Rune Factory 4 Special, you will be receiving the “Another Episode” DLC absolutely free.
Although the game is still pretty close to the original version, there are a couple of things that have been updated:
- Many Town Events are now prioritized if requirements have been met
- The map has shifted to the main screen. However, if you don’t like the change you can always resize or entirely remove the map.
- The teleport spell has been mapped to a dedicated button
- You can change the voice acting language between English and Japanese.
