Slime Rancher 2

Once you start exploring the vast world of Slime Rancher 2, you will come across tons of different slimes, varying in shapes, sizes, colors, and other attributes. Running a ranch full of slimes isn’t going to be a cakewalk. You have to know basically everything about the slimes you care for.

To help you smoothly run the ranch, below we have mentioned every slime type along with all the other necessary information that you could need to better understand the slimes and how to treat them properly.

There are four categories of slime in Slime Rancher 2.

  • Docile Slimes
  • Harmful Slimes
  • Special Slimes
  • Hostile Slimes

Let’s talk about the behavior of slimes belonging to these categories along with some other necessary information about different slimes. And we also have a Slime tier list where we have discussed each slime along with their pros and cons.

Docile Slimes

Docile Slimes are the cutest and the calmest slime out of the bunch and the main reason for their cuteness is their non-hostile behavior toward Beatrix. The only case when they are hostile is when they become Feral.

A Slime becomes Feral when it consumes Plort that is not of its type and this is the only case when a Docile Slime will attack you or the other slimes. Below we have mentioned information about all of the Docile Slimes in Slime Rancher 2.

Largos Slime

These are not some specific slime but any slime can become a Largos Slime if it eats a plort that is unlike its own. Every attribute of the Largos Slime depends on the source slime.

Gordos Slime

Every Slime in Slime Rancher 2 will have a Gordos version and they are just a gigantic version of the slime that is stationary and other than over-feeding them and making them burst, there is not much interaction possible.

The Tarr

The Tarr is an amplified form of The Largos Slime and everything is heightened if a slime reaches this form. The Tarr feeds on other slimes and will attack you when it sees you.

A Largos will turn into The Tarr if it consumes plort unlike its own.

Conclusion

If we were to conclude everything that we just discussed then we will come to know that Slime Rancher 2 is a treat for anyone who loves Pets Simulator but with an FPS twist and the variety of all the different kinds of slime just makes everything more fun and enjoyable.
