Before we begin, let’s talk about the requirements of this domain. While the requirements aren’t necessarily high, they do require you to progress a fair bit through the game. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s dive right in and find out how to unlock this brand new domain!
Unlocking the Lost Valley Domain
To unlock this domain, you must head over to The Chasm and unlock the Statue of Seven. While it is not required, it will help you out moving forward. After you’ve done that, make your way to Fuao Vale and place two Geo Constructs on the pressure plate. Keep in mind that the only characters with this type of ability are:
- The Traveler (Geo)
- Albedo
- Zhongli
- Ningguang
- Arataki Itto
I recommend using the Traveler if you do not have any of the other characters since the Traveler is available to everyone. Once you have successfully activated the Geo pressure plate, immediately fly through the newly formed Anemo Rings. You will have to be fast or you’ll have to start over since this is a time-based puzzle.
After flying through the rings, open the chest at the end and hit the rock where you landed, and immediately fly back to the pressure plate. Using the Anemo Rings on your way back will help you reach the plate faster. Once you get back to the plate, a cutscene should trigger, revealing the Lost Valley. However, if you do not see a cutscene, it means that your Geo Construct was gone before you hit the rock at the end.
If you see a cutscene, congratulations because you just unlocked the Lost Valley domain! Interact with the door like usual and it will be available for fast travel at any point.
Completing the domain will yield the player two new Artifact sets, Echoes of an Offering and Vermillion Hereafter. These are good sets that are a welcomed addition to the game. These sets can only be found through this domain so make sure that you collect them as soon as possible!
