What Happens When You Age In Sifu?

Sifu is an exciting game that features tons of fun mechanics. From satisfying aesthetics to gruesome up-close combat. However, the most interesting mechanic is the fact that your character ages every time you die in the game. If you are curious about what happens if you age in Sifu, we will answer that question in this guide.

Since this is a core aspect of the game, knowing it is vital. According to the trailers for the game before release, many people thought that aging was a visual change. However, that is not the case at all. With that said, let’s get started and take a look at what happens if you age in Sifu.

Sifu: What Happens If You Age?

Sifu Old Age

If you repeatedly die, you will notice that you can get upgrades, but your character’s age increases. At first, you will see that your character changes visually from getting grey hair to growing a beard and long hair. However, that’s not all. This impacts your gameplay a lot.

Your stats will change every ten years that your character ages (ages 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70). One thing that you’ll immediately feel is that your damage has increased a lot as you grow older. While that is a benefit, there is a significant downside to it.

The more your character ages, the lower your HP gets. This means that your HP at age 70 will be at its lowest. You can even die to weaker enemies at that point if you’re not careful. Plus, you won’t be able to resurrect once you reach age 75. After that, it will be game over. You will have to restart the level on which you died.

That is everything you need to know about what happens if your character ages in Sifu. We would love to know your thoughts on the game so far. Are you enjoying it? Let us know in the comments below!
