Players are anxiously waiting for the launch of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. The first season was released on December 5th, 2021. It was released a bit earlier due to one of their YouTube channels accidentally posting the launch trailer early. There have been a few big updates along the way – with the latest one being the v19.20 update.
According to Epic Games, we still have about two massive updates before Season 2 will launch. However, players want to know the exact release date for it. Fortnite Season 2 Release Date for Chapter 3
After taking a look at the Season 1 battle pass, we can assume that it will end on March 19, 2022. This is because the battle pass will be over by then and the season ends when that happens. Keep in mind that this information is available on the Epic Games website.
Now, going by previous patterns, Epic usually launches the new season on a Tuesday. According to that, the next Tuesday after Season 1 ends will be on March 22, 2022. However, keep in mind that delays could happen at any time as they did with the start of Chapter 3. This Chapter launched on a Sunday due to slight delays.
Since we haven’t seen delays in quite some time, we can assume that March 22, 2022, is the release date for Fornite Chapter 3 Season 2. There will be a few updates before that so let’s see what happens. We will keep you updated as we get more information and as we approach the Season 2 date.
As for the theme of the season, we are not quite sure just yet. However, there have been tons of Star Wars references over the map in the past few days. This might either be a part of the Season 2 theme or it might be a separate event in itself. Only time will tell.
How will Chapter 3 Season 1 End?
According to some leaks, the Imagined Order (IO) will once again launch an attack on the map. This might be how Season 1 ends. Another leak suggests that a vehicle with mounted turrets will appear on the map that the players will be able to use.
While this can be a part of the battle royale vehicles, we think that it will be a part of an event. Take all of this with a grain of salt since nothing has been confirmed as of yet. If the leaks are something to go by, the season might end on March 20. There will be a downtime of two days before the next season starts. This goes hand in hand with how Epic has been launching previous seasons as well.
